I thought he was terrible, I went to see him for grief counseling, and I left his office feeling worse and angry, he has no compassion and he has an attitude.

The staff is simply wonderful! Knowledgeable, compassionate, flexible for each patient's needs- provides a warm, non-institutional comfort. They seem to genuinely care about each client. Only 3-10 group participants at a time, and no simultaneous groups make it significantly less intimidating than other programs. The absence of substance abuse education and participants prevents exposure to non-users. Several conveniently located very clean bathrooms are available. Group chairs are comfortable. Outside access readily available (for those who fear being locked in). A shuttle is available.
This is an absolutely WONDERFUL program if you live locally and can hand deliver/pick up documents. Their inter-office communication is less than adequate (really bad). Charlie and Morgan were both outstanding counselors, with recommendations based on experience and education. Kathy was also a great help. The worst aspect of their wonderful program was their owner and lead psychiatrist Dr. Abouesh. His people are working very hard to help their clients live better lives, and it seems that Dr. Abouesh is definitely not helping.

The PHP program here does not provide access for talk therapy; but reads from scripts with no time for questions.; Dr Aboush did not show for appointments that were highly anticipated by patients who were in such distress they sought psychiatric care in the first place. The issue of his arrogance is distressing; and of great concern to women in recovery of trauma.

Never saw me over 5 minutes. Ending up getting better by going to a different psychiatrist. This guy should not be allowed to practice medicine.

They saved me. I never dealt with depression and anxiety before. I think Dr A is fantastic. He is there for medical management and your therapist is there for you to cry too.

When I first checked in, I was given a regular cup in which to urinate. I hadn't consented to treatment yet, nor have I ever done drugs. (I was there to address grief over a death by suicide.) There was no label on the cup, no specific place to put the cup, no latex gloves or lid for it...I simply handed the cup with my pee to one of the staff. A couple weeks later, I was billed $392 for this drug screen. The front desk staff were kind, but the place otherwise seems haphazardly run, with a focus on profit. Communication is poor. I had to initiate interactions. When I did, I was given inaccurate or vague information. I showed up for a treatment program, only to be told it wasn't occurring at that time. When expressing my concerns to Dr. Abouesh, he interrupted, twisted my words, and was highly defensive. He further suggested I find another psychiatrist. To anyone dealing with sadness or angst, I suggest you do the same. Therapeutic Solutions is not the solution.

It's true that Dr. Abouesh does not have the best bedside manner, however, that does not take away from his knowledge and expertise, which I find superior as his patient. Many doctors are matter of fact, and don't have time to cater to your every feeling. You tell him the symptoms and gives you a diagnosis(he's a very busy man after all). He is a caring man, but you have to be respectful of his time. Most of the complaints on here are from demanding people that don't pay their bills on time or simply make excuses and blame the him for everything. Grow up! Dr. Abouesh is a detail oriented professional and I'm proud to call him my Dr.

Own experience, has been positive when you look at my results. This doctor has fully treated my severe condition. I have had no episodes under his care. If you want a straightforward doctor that gets results, go with him. If you want a warm and personable chat to make you feel better have a talk with your mom.
