So grateful for Dr. Smith! He kind, compassionate and took time with me to discuss my goals for rhinoplasty. He was realistic about what I could expect from surgery and did not disappoint! I met with several surgeons and am confident that I chose wisely! I recommend Dr Smith for rhinoplasty!

I just had my one year follow-up with Dr Smith and burst into happy tears after because this has been the best thing I ever did for myself.

My nose is no longer something I'm self conscious about. It looks like a normal nose now. It's not my stand out feature any more. It just blends in with my face.

And although the difference is huge in the before and after photos on my profile - I had a 4 mm reduction in projection, for example - not one person noticed until I told them, which I just love! A huge boost to my looks and my self confidence, and only the people I chose to tell about my surgery know.

I felt so comfortable with Dr Smith from the first appointment. He's such a nice, humble person. You feel listened to as a patient, and he's realistic - he explains perfection is unlikely, but a huge improvement is. He's also very accomplished, and if I remember correctly is the only surgeon in Canada who has fellows from the best North American facial surgery fellowship program.

I love Dr Smith and his team so much. Just the other day, my gym posted a photo of my profile on their Instagram page. Pre rhinoplasty me would have been horrified, but present me can't stop looking at how cute and feminine her nose is 😊

Dr. Oakley Smith is very knowledgeable and explains the procedures and process of the surgery. Gives it to you like it is and very friendly. Couldn't breathe before, now nose is like a wind tunnel. I can now smell and breathe. I'm so grateful ... Thank you Dr. Oakley. I'm writing this review as I know how heavily I relied on them during my search for the perfect surgeon. I still cannot believe I did it! I've wanted rhinoplasty since I was a child. I had rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Smith on Oct 25th. I was so nervous going into this and I wish I could go back to my former self and say everything is going to work out perfectly! I saw 5 surgeons in the Toronto area and no one made me feel comfortable to proceed with surgery like Dr Smith and his team. There are no words to describe the gratitude I have for this man. I LOVE my new nose! It is so natural that no one even noticed I did it (which is what I asked for). He respected my wishes and our discussion was a joint effort of what is best for my face. He gave me realistic expectations, which I appreciated. He is very humble and a TRUE artist. He literally sketched my nose while I was sitting in front of him during my consult and it was really impressive. He is the only one to use the ultrasound saw to break the nose, which really give a precise result with minimized trauma to the face and improved recovery. This is state of the art technology that is really blowing the standard rhinoplasty away (this is also why patients have hardly any bruising). I was so afraid to do this and this has truly been one of the best decisions of my life. Do not hesitate, this is the best surgeon around! I couldn't have asked for more!

I’ve been dr smith’s patient for 4 years! He’s done 2 surgeries on me. When I was a child I fell from my crib and crushed my nose. I had surgery at sick kids age 8. They did the best they could but my nose was a mess. Fast forward 20 years I was referred to dr smith by another surgeon who said he was the only one able to help me. The first surgery make my nose look normal and helped my breathing. I was happy and grateful. However dr smith ssaid he could do even better! I was reluctant but I trusted drs smith so I said let’s go ahead. That was 2 years ago. I’m so glad I listened to him! It’s mush better and now looks more than natural but really good. He is a good doctor. He cared about me and helped me be normal again. I can go out and feel good about myself. Thank you dr smith. Thank you. Thank you. You are a good doctor who took good care of me. I will be thankful to you all my life.

I am so happy and relieved I chose Dr. Oakley Smith as my surgeon. Although I'm currently recovering on day 2 from surgery, everything from the consultation to the surgery has gone well. I felt well-cared for by Dr. Oakley's staff- responding to concerns via email within minutes. As soon as I woke up from the operation I could already see the significant changes I was hoping for, even with a little swelling present. Before surgery, he thoroughly went over the plan- I was impressed with his preparation and the fact that he takes the time to review and remember exactly what the patient wants and re-iterates it before the surgery- I felt very relieved. Hopefully the rest of my recovery goes well. Really excited to see how my nose progresses!

Dr. Oakley Smith is SO incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Such a gifted/talented surgeon! From the moment that I walked into his office, his staff/Dr. Smith treated me with the upmost kindness, addressing all of my questions and concerns. When I described the changes that I wanted to see, he was very realistic with what he could do and what the results would look like. Dr. Smith was able to perfectly pinpoint the changes that would look good with my face shape. He took note of everything that I wanted and exceeded my expectations!

Fast forward one year post rhinoplasty surgery - I am beyond happy with the results!! It is everything that I wanted plus more! I can’t thank Dr. Smith enough, and I would recommend him to anyone.

I firmly believe that I made the right choice by proceeding with my rhinoplasty with Dr. Smith.
Dr. Smith clearly outlined all the outcomes of my rhinoplasty and its success with regards to my breathing/function and my perspective (i.e., what I wanted to see change) based on his assessment. These outcomes and my personal expectations provided me with an explicit understanding of how I may perceive the success of the surgery. However, 3 months after the surgery, I feel like the outcomes exceeded my expectations. Dr. Smith and his fellow did a wonderful job on the surgery and i am very grateful for their expertise and skills. I also feel great that my before and after pictures are uploaded to the website for others to see. I would also like to make note that the Oakley Smith staff were wonderful and I sincerely appreciate their hard work and charm. Overall, I had an absolutely wonderful experience and I highly respect Dr. Smith’s work.

I was given dr smith’s name from another plastic surgeon. He said he sends his rhinoplasty patients to dr smith. For a plastic surgeon to refer to another plastic surgeon means a lot in my book! I was impressed by dr smiths knowledge and willingness to explain things. He clearly wanted me to know what my chances where. He said he would do his best and his best is very good. I liked the fact he knew he was good but in a matter of fact way. His staff are well trained and efficient. I felt they had the process down pat. Which makes sense since that’s all they do! The fact I had to wait months to see him was also reassuring to me. The day of surgery he and his assistant again went over the plan and the goals. My recovery was easier than I expected. No bruising and little swelling. Dr Lipin told me this was normal. So all the horror pictures on line are extreme. I really wanted a smaller nose and thankfully this is what happened. I was scared from the botched jobs I had seen on line. That’s what took me so long to finally decide. But I’m so glad now I went ahead. I’m happy with my new look. I look so much better now. I have more confidence and energy. People smile at me more. The bonus is they still don’t know! They can’t figure out why I’m looking so good! Bonus! I’m thankful I was steered in the direction of dr smith. He’s a good person and a skilled doctor.
