He was Friendly, and easy to talk to, very knowledgeable on the subject of heart valves.
He performed my Aortic valve replacement nearly two years ago. Did a wonderful job. I had OHS, he and the staff were great. I love Huntsville Hospital! I’d use him again in a heartbeat (pun)!!

I worked with Dr. Clay in the late 1990's and he did my step-mother's lung biopsy when she was ill. Fantastic bedside manner, very humble attitude and always treated those around him with respect and dignity. If ever I need heart surgery, I hope he's still practicing.

Dr. Richard Clay is a very kind and intelligent Cardiothoracic Surgeon. He studied at the best heart hospital in the U.S. , The Cleveland Clinic. Great bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone.
