We give him the highest rating. I don't believe my husband would be alive if it wasn't for Dr. Schmidt. Out of several doctors who didnt want this challenge, he took it. We will be forever grateful! He doesn't talk a lot, but he will tell you the truth! Surgery date was Sept. 2006.

Dr.Schmidt saved my fathers life!! He had to performed 4 different operations on my father. He's doing very well now thanks to Dr. Schmidt. He's the doctor you'd wont on your side if need be. Very down to earth he's great.

This surgeon was my healer. I had lung cancer and he removed the cancer, even with my pnuemonia. He came to see me everyday in the hospital, and even came at 1:00am to tell me my results from the biopsy, after being in surgery all day and night. He really aneffectivly controlled my surgery pain. I would recommend him highly.

Nicknamed Dr. Burns. This guy never keeps appointments. 9 a.m. surgery happened at 7 p.m. Never shows for appointments within 2 hours of scheduled. Never knows who his patient is or why they are there. Once looked at my test results and said, "Well, I don't know what I should do." and left it at that. Record keeping is a mess. Once called me with results about an artery in my arm and tried to schedule me for a stint in my heart valve.
