I just called the office to schedule an appointment to see Dr.Summers. The girl that answered the phone acted like I was an idiot when I asked if she took my insurance and responded to me by saying "umm not at this office". I said ok well does she have more than one office and does she take my insurance at a different location. Her response, "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, well maybe but I am at 101st and she may take it around 61st" She gave me no number, no real answers and now i am looking for a different doc for my pregnancy bc of of this one girl who doesn't know the importance of representing her Dr. well.

I have been with Dr. Summers all three of my pregnancies. The first pregnancy she detected a heart defect at 15 weeks...we carried til I was 30 weeks when I went into early labor. She was amazing afterwards and would even call to make sure we were doing ok. She treated me as high risk w/my second pregnancy and he came out perfect...now we are on our 3rd pregnancy and she has been equally amazing. She is always on time, answers our questions,if she can b/c she is a gyno not a regualr physician so she may not know the answer, and she is thorough! I would recommend her to EVERYONE...Actually I have recommended 7 people to her and not one was disappointed and 5 of the 7 have had 2 babies with her! She is amazing and Kristen, her nurse, is equally amazing. Some of the staff can be a little harsh but Dr. Summers and Kristen are very kind,loving, gentle people!

She is an Amazing Dr! I have 2 kids, and have LOVED the experiance with her during both pregnancies. She still remembers my kids names when I go in to see her, and we have wonderful catch up conversations! She is very knowledgeable and makes the patient feel comfortable and content. Her nurse Kristyn is also Wonderful! I have recommended at least 7 friends to her, all adore her! Located at 6565 S. Yale right next to St.Francis.

LOVE Dr. Summers. I moved mid way through my pregnancy and she made me feel right at home in her office. My husband really liked her as well. I was in labor for about 24 hours and I loved that she kept coming over to the hospital from her office to check on me. Very personalbe. HIGHLY reccomend. Her nurse Kristen is great as well!!!!

I could not imagine having another doctor to deliver my children then Dr. Summers. She was great throughout both of my pregnancy's. Her nurse, Kristen was awesome too. Love her and will def use her with next baby.

I loved Dr. Summers and her nurse Kristen. They both took good care of me while i was pregnant. I would call and leave messages and they would return them that day. Also when i got a physical, i got my results in less than a week. Dr. Summers knows what she is doing and i recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Summers is nice and friendly. If you have some problems, don't expect anything from her. I probably won't recommend her to anyone else.

Dr. Summers and everyone at her office were very nice and helpful with all of my needs. When I would call with questions, they would always return my phone calls. She was very thorough during the visits and always asked me if I had any questions. I NEVER felt rushed. I have experience with another doctor and there I felt I was just another patient. I never felt this way at Dr. Summer's office. I will definately continue to use her as my ob/gyn.

Dr Summers is the best dr I have ever used! My 1st baby was premature, and I credit Dr. Summers w/ making the decisions necessary to keep me and my daughter healthy! I have used her for both of my pregnancies, and I will continue to use her forever! Her and Kristen are as personable and sweet as you can find! We were very lucky to find her!

She rushed through my first visit. Didn't even have the time to ask her any questions or concerns I have at that time. She is not very knowledgeable when I do get the chance to ask her about a concern that I had. Her nurses will not very friendly on the phone. Did not even return my calls until I left three messages with the office. I would not recommend her to any mom-to-be.
