Doctor Backstein is a great surgeon! I’ve been a patient of his for years and have had several procedures ranging from a tummy tuck years ago to closure of my stretched out ear piercings just recently. He and his staff and nurses are always caring. I have only good things to say about Dr. Backstein and his surgical centre.

I had a mole removed from my nostril area. The doctor was gracious enough to tell me not to do it when I first inquired because it was too close to me wedding day. I had it done after the wedding and am completely happy with the results. From the moment I saw the area, I could tell Dr. Backstein took great care with the procedure. The stitches themselves were unbelievably tiny and the cut looked extremely neat and well done. I am now about 6 months from the procedure and really can't see any scar. Overall the process was top notch beginning to end.

I had lived with huge stretching of my ear piercings for many years. I didn't even know that the problem could be fixed until a friend referred me to Dr. Backstein. I had the procedure done in January and have since re-pierced my ears. I'm totally happy with the results and the doctor was extremely friendly and professional as well.

Dr. Backstein graciously accepted me as a patient after I was rejected by many other surgeons for keloid treatment. I was told there was no hope. Dr. Backstein was realistic and explained that the risk the keloid coming back was indeed very high. But I an 2 years out now and after surgery, injections and post-op radiations organized by Dr. Backstein my keloid has not grown back but my confidence has.

He closed my stretched out ear holes perfectly. They look good as news and can't see any scarring even though he said there might be.

I had 2 moles removed at the Center For Minor Surgery. Excellent staff, Julie was kind and attentive and Becky was extremely pleasant. The surgeries went very well with minimal/no scars visible . I highly recommend this doctor and his clinic.

I was referred here by a friend that had a mole removal. I also had a mole removal and love my results. The doctor was friendly and took his time. The procedure was basically painless during and after.
