I would not even thnk of going to anyone else. Dr Margolis knows his stuff. He was my Pediatrian 30 years ago and now both my children see him. He is always cheerful and ready for any questions and concerns that you may have. We love him.

On a couple of occasions, I have had to wait for a long time in the waiting room, but I appreciate the fact that his receptionist always fits us in whenever we need to see Dr. Margolis. She is a gem. Dr. Margolis saw me as a child and now sees my son. He is always very helpful and knowledgable. Sometimes I am concerned about his "don't worry about it" attitude, but I do not let that affect our relationship. I just bring my list of concerns, tell him during the appointment and he always addresses every concern. Unfortunately my son does not like going to see him, but at this point he may not like any doctor (he has autism). I hope this changes as he gets older. Dr. Margolis is very supportive and always asks if there is anything he can do to help make my son's life better. He truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Margolis is a good doctor. I find that one of the reasons I take my children to him is because of his receptionist. She will almost always get us into the examining room right away so we don't have to sit in the waiting room with all the other sick children picking up their germs. She is always pleasant and caring to both me and my children. Way to go!

Dr. Margolis is a kind, patient doctor. He was peciatrician to my 3 kids who are all over 18 now. My only complaint was that as they grew older, he seemed bored to have to treat them. I think he prefers young kids. Sometimes I felt that he thought he knew my kid better than me... and I did seek a second opinion on 2 occasions.

I've always had positive experiences when seeing Dr.Margolis, he is very informative and makes my son feel comfortable to be examined or get shots. His assistant at the front desk is always cheerful too, my son likes bugging her for stickers.

I rarely have to wait (I think this is the assistant's doing). Dr.Margolis is okay, but seems to think he know more about my child than me. He seems to care about all of his patients. Although I get the distinct impression from him that any issue I have about my child, he passes off as "too much worrying on my part". In the case of symptoms persisting tho' I will go get a second opinion to avoid finding out later something should have been done. I have to add that I know a couple other people who take their children to see him and he's always been very helpful and liked by the children. He just doesn't seem to have time for the parent-the person who has the reference point and cares for the child on a daily basis.

DR>Margolis was pediatrician to our five children and they all liked him very much. Infact, our 23 yr. old still insists on going to him. I tell her why would you want to sit there with all those babies in the waiting room? She has finally been referred to another doctor and has only seen him once[does not like him] and wants to go back to Dr. Margolis...

Dr. Margolis was my doctor while I was growing up, he has been my four childrens doctor starting with the oldest 26 years ago and hopefully will be my youngest child's until he is at least 18 which will be another 9 years. I can't imagine him not being there. He has been the most caring and understanding doctor I have ever met. When I was young and started to smoke he got on my case every time I saw him, and there were days I did not want to see him. I quit smoking about 30 years after he first started to lecture me and the day I took the kids in for their check up, which is once a year, he looked at me said hello and you quit smoking didn't you. He could hear it in my voice and you know I swear he is the one that I feel has given me the most support even though I only see him once a year. I do not know what I am going to do when he retires.

Dr. Margolis was my husbands pediatrician. He is now our children' doctor as well as 4 of our nieces and nephews. I have never had a problem getting in to see him and he has been wonderful from the start. My oldest had a bit of trouble in the beginning and I was very stressed out. He came to see me in the hospital and told me that my daughter would be fine and that he was more worried about me. LOL He has always been wonderful and I only hope that he still continues practicing for the next few years or at least until my 11 year old is of age!
