Within a couple visits with Dr. Pearl, I knew I needed to keep looking for a family doctor. You can feel her impatience with any visit immediately, and you will leave without any satisfying resolutions.

I was with Dr. Pearl from the time she started her practice, and initially found her to give excellent care, accurate diagnosis and maintain her efficient and professional manner. I was very happy to have her as my doctor. Regretfully, Dr. Pearl's manner changed. I was diagnosed with a serious condition that did not heal within her designated allotted time, and I was told to return to work. When Dr. Pearl told me that I "should be healed by now", she did not pursue, nor try to determine why I wasn't healing. The condition worsened, and I was off work for almost 2 years . Unfortunately I was never able to return to full time work and I lost my home due to loss of income. The condition originally diagnosed became a permanent partial disability and I also ended up with an auto-immune disease I have to manage. The underlying condition was diagnosed and confirmed by three different specialists. I hope Dr. Pearl has learned to listen to her patients when they tell her something is wrong and it's not getting better. I did like her and did respect her but when she didn't listen or acknowledge my condition was worsening, I felt it was time to leave. The staff has changed in demeanor as well. I think they are not as appreciated as they once were, but they do try their best. I guess the upside of the newest location at Bloor/Bay is that you can be seen within 24 hours.

I've consistently had negative experiences with Dr. Pearl, which greatly outweigh the few positive experiences. She refused to take an illness that I had seriously and told me to "wait it out", which prolonged a diagnosis for something very curable for 5 months. She's also refused to give me simple tests (that I specifically asked for), which later specialists were shocked that I had not been given. In several years of being a patient, I never liked her bedside manner, but was willing to accept the rudeness since I thought she was a somewhat competent doctor. I happily switched to someone else a few months ago.

The biggest benefit of this office is that you can get an appointment within a day or so, however I've been left on hold for 15 minutes when trying to schedule and have never received even a slightly warm welcome from the secretaries.

I have been under Dr. Pearl for many years, and agree that she is highly competent, efficient, and still has a moment to chat. She remembers you even though you only see her once or twice a year. I value her medical judgment and honesty..

I have been a patient of Dr. Pearl for almost 20 years. In that time she remains consistent with her practise. She gets right to the point. I admire and appreciate her attitude and professionalism. If you hate bells and whistles and like efficient and accurate assessments, Dr. Pearl is the best!

I've read some surprisingly negative reviews in the past. I think those writers are either jealous or mentally incapacitated. Dr. Monica Pearl is excellent!

Dr Pearl has been my doctor since the mid 1990s.

I'm obviously comfortable with her (or I wouldn't have stayed this long). I think her knowledge is great and, more often than not, I find her helpful.

The staff are always helpful and friendly. It's gnerally busy at the clinic but I have not had to wait long...maybe 5-10 minutes in the waiting room (but then I'm usually 5-10 minutes early so I guess they're right on time) and I think the longest I've waited in the exam room is ten minutes.

This is not my regular doctor, but saw her because my doctor was away. This doctor is rude, insensitive, condescending and dismissive. Her knowledge may be fine but it's hard to trust her because of her appalling bedside manner. Will never return to see her again ever!! The receptionist are fine but not very fast to acknowledge you when you are standing at the counter right in front of them.

Dr. Pearl has been my physician for years now. I couldn't have ask for doctor. She has this way about her that makes your feel relaxed and comfortable. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Also the staff at WellPoint are the nicest and efficient staff I've dealt with

Dr. Pearl has been my family physician for over 20 years and I only have good things to say about her care and about her team at Wellpoint. She is thorough and organized and I always leave her practice with the feeling that I am in the best possible hands. I have specific views about risks/benefits of taking medication and am often inclined to pursue a holistic path first and I find that Dr. Pearl is knowledgeable and open to other kinds of treatment as well.
