I have been her patient for 4 years now. I have a lot of things going on that requires me to have frequent doctor's visits. Dr. Gwen and the majority of the staff have been nothing but helpful towards me. The wait is long and sometimes it takes time to get appointments but they always make sure I get what I need and they always try to give me an appropriate appointment. the nurse is so helpful and takes time to explain things to me and she is very friendly and efficient. I wasn't a fun of their front desk person before as she doesn't smile at all and looks like she is not happy with her job seeing us. And sometimes she was rude in the phone..But luckily they changed there receptionist few months ago! I don't see her there anymore. I guess I wasn't the only one who noticed that with her. Dr. Gwen is the best!

Knowledgable Dr!!! She takes time seeing you. She never rush and she always make you comfortable and very accommodatingg too. Very kind also. She never charge me with any forms, sick notes and even for my TB test for my workplace. Awesome Dr! However there is always a waiting time she is usually behind schedule. But hey 90% of the dr's and clinic always have waiting time...

Lovely doctor! I am a new patient of Dr. Rajakumar. My doctor retired and we were transferred to her. She is way better than our previous doctor!!!!! She always do follow ups if needed. Spends time discussing our own health not like our previous doctor he talks a lot about golf, himself and other stuff although he was a good one too when he was still young. Dr. Rajakumar was able to manage my Diabetes. Never new people with Diabetes needed 3 months follow up. My previous doctor never did that to me. Now my diabetes is under control. She referred me to a dietician and a diabetes nurse in her clinic. Never new i can have access to those. And also i never knew i needed vaccines and i can get it for free again my previous doctor never informed me of this! So got my pneumonia and tetanus vaccine.. Staff is very helpful!! Her nurse Rani is so amazing!!! Very knowledgable and I SWEAR SHE IS GOOD in giving needles/vaccine never felt any pain! Overall Dr. Rajakumar is one of the best doctors I met. I think it was a blessing that our old family doctor retired and we were transferred to her. She is one of a kind!

I have been a patient of Dr. Rajakumar for a long time. She is very kind, knowledgeable and always do follow ups if needed. I never had a problem about booking appointments nor problems with her staff. I am surprised with some of the things I read here. Maybe because I always book my appointments ahead of time as I know she has lots of patients I believe she has a full practice and if I need to see her urgently I asked the staff to send her a message about my urgency and they usually get back to me in a timely manner no matter how busy they are. Her nurse is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. She did my wound dressing once and she did it better than the people in the ER. .

I switched to this doctor because I wanted a female family doctor. I should not have switched as she only cares about her bottom line. In addition to this, the staff at the clinic are rude and lack courtesy. Do your research before you switch doctors.

The medical / office staffs are very rude and don't know what they are doing. You will get different information from the next staff sitting just next to the other one. They do not have any professional manner at all. You can see them eating or browsing on their cell phones. It is hard to get appointment with Dr. Rajakumar even after you explain the urgency to see your own family doctor. She is undoubtedly a great doctor but her reputation is already declining due to these 'pseudo' staff she has. A real degradation for such a nice doctor.

I was a patient for 5 years by Dr. Rajakumar. She was still in her clinic at Lawrence Ave. East close to Scarborough Gen then she transferred at Ellesmere and Markham before her current location now at Rexall. For those years I was with her, I have never encountered any problem as her staff were very helpful and kind. But now, since she moved at her current location, I always had problems with her staff. I wonder if she is aware that for this reason, she's jeopardizing her practice. I had to update my telephone number 4x and I had to wait for months just to get an appointment, even worse than getting an appointment for specialist. I don't know where her MOA's studied or if they even had formal training to assume their job, but they don't know how to triage.

My Family doctor retired and left Dr Rajakumar to take his patients. I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant experiencing severe pain from sciatica. I went to see Dr Rajakumar for advise on how to manage the pain and to find out what would be the next steps after I give birth. She seems disorganized and comes across as not knowing what she is doing. I did not receive any clear instructions on how to manage my symptoms nor on how my and my baby care would be continuing after birth. I didn't feel I could trust my newborn care to this doctor. I'll be looking for another Family Doctor.

Dr. Rajakumar is a terrible doctor she always forgets to follow up with patient. Never mentions the test results unless you ask her. You will always have to repeat your questions and concerns regarding your health twice for her so she would understand. I would not recommend her as your family physician.
