Rude and dismissive. He charged my father for a missed appointment after hospital discharge that was never made. I was at every meeting and there at discharge and handled all the paperwork. There were follow ups with his family doctor and with the surgeon. Nothing was booked for him. Terrible man.

I have had a couple surgeries done by Dr. Hutfluss and the ones he couldn't do, I wish he could of. The big difference is he really cares. I really like the man. No complaints here

Dr. Hutfluss has always taken care of any of my issues. Had three surgeries and he’s done them all. Love his staff as well.

You are only going to hear 5 star and 1 star reviews. People who are happy and healthy or people who just had bad luck.... Hutfluss is an excellent thorough doc and surgeon for me, im sure others have had bad experiences.. we are not cars and all the same, so rating a doctor is insane in itself as ever person is different. My personal experiences with him over the last year leading up to and after surgery has been great. Take that how you will.

My son husband had a hernia surgery by G. Hutfluss. I refuse to call him a doctor. My husband was unable to return to work due to unimaginable pain due to complications which Hutfluss refused to acknowledge for over a year. Finally Hutfluss admitted an error and we got just over 1k in damages. But he didn’t correct the internal damage, he said we could try a pain clinic to learn to manage it. It took him over a year more to refer and get us an appointment. By which time my husband had had to find other work and worked in pain daily. We lost almost everything. My husband is still in pain from this surgery years after.
After the surgery when we contacted the office numerous times to try to see Hutfluss, he was never in. He had taken a bunch of holiday time and we couldn’t get in to see him for help for months. The office just kept saying my husband’s pain was recovery and could wait.
When we finally got in, we realized what a mistake it was to have the surgery with Hutfluss. We saw his two other patients crying in pain and frustration leaving his office. One man was bent over holding his stomach and could barely walk because of his pain. Weeping he asked how he could possibly return to work in his condition and Hutfluss said he’d have to “figure it out and stop complaining. Can’t your coworkers cover up for you, isn’t that what coworkers should do for each other.” And he walked away. Not a humanitarian bone in his body, and obviously he has never had to work in common jobs. And not what a doctor should consider as living up to his oath to heal. My husband was treated exactly the same. We still have to figure out how to FIX him. And with this history we are scared to trust anyone.
Please don’t put yourself at risk.
