Saw Dr Camazzola Oct 2023 about knee pain issues. He said that my knees were not the problem and when I asked what I should do he did not bother with any other sugestion/ideas. Luckly I went to a caring Dr who immediatley identified that problem was problably the hips. Stage 4 O/A and he scheduled surgaery. As a Knee & Hip surgeon is consoltation was poor..

Dr. Camazzola performed my hip replacement 7 years ago.
I have been having some issues lately. Visited his office, he is very kind, cordial, compassionat and a good listener. He realized what was wrong and referred to someone else right away. Flora is kind and wonderful, always greeting the patients when they walk in.
God bless them both.

The Receptionist was listening to a program loudly at her desk when I arrived. The program said that doctors are retiring early due to stress from the pandemic. It seemed odd to be listening to that in a patient waiting room. She eventually turned around and said "Yes?"..no hello, no hi or any friendly greeting. Dr. Camazzola seemed friendly at first which was a relief but when he started to ask me questions he seemed aggravated by some of my responses and outright dismissive when I tried to explain some of my symptoms. He barely made eye contact with me and seemed rushed. He told me that there was a "good chance" that surgery could help but his poor attitude, lack of listening and dismissiveness I found myself wondering if this is the person I want to cut me open.

I had left hip replacement June 15, 2018 after going4 years with diminishing ability to do things and get around with increasing pain. Dr. Camazzola ask me my goals before the surgery. I said it was to get back to where I was 4 years ago in my ability to do physical things . It took over a year to get there with plenty of exercise. Over 2 years later I am better than 4 years ago and have recently taken up running. Yes it took a excellent surgeon, yes it is a lot of work, yes it is so worth it. YES AND I AM 72 YEARS OLD.
