have been going to Dr Fishman for almost 10 years and he is always thoughtful, respectful and caring. Fortunately I have never been seriously ill, but he is always thorough and available. I never feel uncomfortable around him or his staff and I find the experience overall very good especially compared to other medical groups I have encountered in my 24 years in NYC.

Dr. Fishman is wonderful. He is very informed, logical and cautious. He has been my doctor for the last 3 years and I have never felt more comfortable with my medical care. He is a very caring and considerate doctor and has referred me to other very good doctors – gynecologist, dermatologist. Yes, the staff is often busy, but that does not deter me from going to Dr. Fishman. I have referred several friends to come here and they have both been very happy with Dr. Fishman’s treatment. Also, the wait time here is very low, 15 min max. This is fantastic! My prior doctor had a waiting time of over 1 hour before I got into the examining room. Then another 20 min wait to see the doctor. I don’t have the patience for this! Dr. Fishman is on time and always pleasant.

I recently saw Dr. Fishman for the first time. We went into his office/exam room and immediately he made a phone call. When he was finished, we started going over my medical history. The phone rang and he answered it and again a few minutes later. I said maybe I should leave as I am inconveniencing his phone calls. He promised not to do it again. Although later, he did. I sat there waiting as he told some man there is a chance he has lung cancer.I can't say if the doctor is actually any good as I have no intentions of ever going back.

dr fishman is pragmatic and very knowledgeable. he is very comfortable to be with and not an alarmist. he also has excellent doctor connections for better diagnosis if he believes it is needed.

Dr. Fishman is an excellent doctor. When I was ill, he met me at the emergency room on a Sunday morning. He cares about his patients and is an experienced diagnostician.

The frustrating thing is how forgetful he is even when he made noted from a previous session. His staff has turned over a few times and has messed up my billing. I've switched doctors.

Dr. Fishman is a top-notch pulmonologist and has always been kind and helpful to me. Very knowledgeable. I heard another doctor say that if he was critically ill, he would want Dr. Fishman as his doctor. Dr. Fishman's that good.

Dr. Fishman is a fine doctor but you can't get through to his office! The line is busy all day, and they always put the answering service on before their 5:00 p.m. close. Plus, the receptionist (not Susie) is rude and they don't return calls, even emergency ones. This is unacceptable and has prompted a visit to the ER already. I would not reccomend this doctor until he changes his administration staff.
