Dr. Kuo has been my doctor for close to 20 years. He's seen me at my worst and my best. Right now I am at a good point, he keeps me balanced. I would never go to anyone else, as he knows me, my history and knows my triggers.

Dr. Allen Kuo is extremely efficient, knows his patients and gives time to converse with them. Dr. Kuo has been treating me for many years and with no complaints from me. He has taken all my symtoms and was able to delicately balance all the medications that I need to balance me out emotionally. He does not over medicate me and helps with other techniques if I am going through difficult situations. I personally never want to change from his care.

I've been his patient for many years. He knows when medicine is the answer and when it is not. He will also tell you what you need to know, not what you want to hear. Sometimes he recommends lifestyle changes, or better habits, or when to see another type of specialist. He is kind and caring. When I had a bad reaction to a medicine, I explained it to him, and he changed my medicine. He is very low-kay and down to earth.

I found Dr. Kuo to be uncaring and lacking in compassion. I also found him to be rude, more so than any other experience with a doctor. His main approach to TX consisted of pushing medication. No other avenues were explored or suggested. Patient clearly let him know that there were distressing side effects of the medications prescribed. Dr. Kuo became defensive. He did not appear to listen. And believe it or not, instead of taking the patient's concerns seriously, Dr. Kuo's response was to INCREASE the very medication that was causing so much distress! Additionally, as the patient spent significant time researching the medications prescribed, and saw the VERY dangerous side effects, NONE of this was ever explained to the patient... it was never spoken of. The result of this patient being treated by Dr. Kuo is that the patient is in much worse shape than before this person saw Dr. Kuo.
