great bedside manners. took the time to figure out what was wrong. doesn't order a bunch of tests at once, which I liked. great hospital system too.

Dr Balk is very intelligent but had NO concept of patient concerns. During my heart cath I was unsedated and in much distress. He argued with the hospital staff openly and was very arigant. Not concerned with patient interests only concerned with his scheduled.

he was friendly, and communicative and instilled a great degree of confidence that he would do his best to find out what was wrong. I liked the fact he asked if I had any other questions before he left the room.
