We were referred to Dr. Pollard by a trusted doctor and I found him to be knowledgeable. He explained my son's diagnosis well, but he was rude. That's not so much of a problem for me, but on my son's second visit, Dr. Pollard handled my baby in a very rough manner prompting me to ask him to let go of my son. I am horrified and disappointed. I hope it was an off day for him, but I'm finding another ophthalmologist.

Dr Pollard was very rude and abusive. My daughter witnessed her father die and is very afraid of doctors. He was inexcusably insensitive and only examined her after I demanded another doctor see her. When he finally did the exam it took less than a minute. I don't really believe he did anything. He lack of professionalism is shocking. I would be very cautious if you attend this practice. I don't think they have patients interest at heart.

I find the negative reviews above to be shocking. I was a patient of Dr. Pollard's in 1979 and now my daughter has been a patient for the last 13yrs. I could not be more pleased. I find Dr. Pollard to be very focused and driven to treat his patients with excellence! The medical community of Atlanta and the nation holds him in very high regard. I wouldn't trust any other doctor with my children's eye's!

Dr Zane pollard examined my baby in July 2010 and was very rough in handling her eyes. When i politely asked him to be more gentle with baby, he told me that i was wasting his time. He did not answer any of my questions and was very impatient with me. I am so disappointed with the care provided. please don't take your child to him.

My son went to Dr. Pollard in November 2010. Pollard walked in and diagnosed him with Nystagmus. He did not explain what the condition was, walked out of the office without answering my questions and had the worst bedside manner I could imagine. He told me there was nothing he could do to help my son, which after going to a different doctor, I found out he was wrong. I was expecting more from a Pediatric Ophthalmologist... especially one associated with Scottish Rite.
