Very poor bedside manners. Staff not knowledgable of HIPPA violations. If you have some medical background or training, it will be evident of the poor quality of interest and professionalism. Similar to other comment, I was told that I was "just getting old."

I found Dr. Figa knowledgable, helpful, and sincerely concerned. I was very satisfied that I had found him and he was extremely knowledgable.

Dr. Figa has absolutely NO compassion. He informaed me that I needed to go to a pain management clinic because he does not do pain managment yet he is listed as a pain management doctor? When telling me that I would just have to get used to the idea of living in constant pain he said "I don't like being bald but it is something I have had to accept, just like you need to accept that you will live in pain". He is a very rude "little" man!

Dr. Figa is nice enough but does focus on procedures. Even though I didn't stay with him, one procedure he did on me, a discogram, allowed a neurologist to finally take ab interest in my case and 'proved' that the pain was real and not all in my head (which most doctors start implying after awhile when they can;t fix you).

Dr. Figa has no bedside manner. Very blunt. Seemed motivated by doing procedures only. The staff was the worse at Atlanta Orthopedic. HIPPA did not seem to be an issue with them as they did not seem to care about talking in the waiting room about your condition. Good Luck to the people of Kentucky where he moved.
