My grandchildren have been in Dr. Hulsey' s care since birth. My oldest is now four years old. My children and I have nothing but praise for Dr. Hulsey and her staff. One of my grandchildren had a liver transplant at five months old and Dr. Hulsey has been in constant contact with his liver team doctors and always has the most up to date information. We are all very thankful for this doctor's office. They are awesome!

Not impressed, and overall extremely disappointed. I took my newborn to Kelly Hulsey, and told her he was screaming in pain when I fed him breast milk supplemented with formula. I told her I took a (heartbreaking) video of it, to show her so that she could see what he was doing, and maybe know exactly what Was going on. When I told her about the video, she said, "no, I don't need to watch it"... That is extremely unprofessional, and shows a lack of concern. Afterwards, she checked his private area and proceeded to say that sometimes a hair can get wrapped around the private area, or other body parts, causing discomfort. While I can see that as true... I'm pretty sure that is not the case. So the hair is only wrapped, and causes pain, while he eats??? Come on!!! I decided to take my son elsewhere, and when I asked for his records to be transferred, the older receptionist acted as if I was bothering her, and said she didn't have time but would do it "later". This is 100% unacceptable. And, par for the course, she never transferred them. The new ped figured out, rather quick, that my son could not handle proteins in regular formula or breast milk. To each their own, but be cautious if you choose to go to kids health. I hope you have a better experience!

I had my children with this group of doctors since they were born would not trust anyone else with my children. They are awesome.

Don't know where that one poster came from but Dr. Hulsey is excellent. What the poster didn't say was that Dr. Hulsey had work for the physician that passed away before going solo. She then bought the practice when the physician passed away. Don't believe the nonsense - Dr. Hulsey is good.

The commentor from 11/08 doesn't understand the situation. First of all, Dr. Hulsey has been my child's pediatrician for several years and is wonderful! I know her very well and know that she did not fire anyone. She also doesn't turn patients away. She would never kick anyone out of the practice. She has always been professional, concerned and takes time for any problem my child has had.

This doctor came in to a practice that had been run by a terrific doctor who passed away in April of 2008. She got the practice, fired people, and then kicked out a bunch of patients. It just seems crooked.
