He worked on me in 2008. He was supposed to put me back together neatly after dr. Kooby took out a Desmoid tumor. Instead of him doing the work they had a resident doctor come in and work on me which ended up in him cutting himself and both of us having to have an hiv test. Thankfully all was well on that end. Till today I have a horrible abdominal scar and a large hernia. Every where I go I am told they (dr kooby) took out more muscle than they should have. Basically I have nothing there! I am at a stage where I need to have the hernia fixed because it is causing issue but these 2 doctors caused me so much trauma I am so scared and have been avoiding any abdominal surgery for almost 15 years!!! To make matters worse I remember waking up during surgery and having to get knocked out again!!! The worst experience of my life with these 2! I am convinced there are certain patients they are able to get away with such behavior. A person who has not much family or status. But there is a God who lives and if any of this behavior is intentional it will catch up with them. 🙏🏾

My experience with Doctor Losken was terrible. After performing a mastectomy of my right breast, my breast surgeon referred me to Doctor Losken. The 1st surgery he did was reconstruction of my right breast by taking the belly fat to build a new breast on the right side. That turned out well. At my follow-up visit I mentioned that I liked the size and the shape of the "new" right breast, however, it did not match my left breast. He scheduled me for a second surgery to lift the left breast so that they would match.

While being prepped for my 2nd surgery I again signed paperwork to allow students to observe the procedure. I verbally stated that I did not want any students working on me. During the 2nd surgery, Dr. Losken took the nipple off my left breast and re-attached it-- which resulted in that nipple being very itchy with a keloid. That procedure did nothing to "lift" my left breast. On my right breast his solution to "match" them was to cut a diagonal slice across the top of my breast and remove some of the fat to make it smaller. The scar from that cut remains today. They still did not match, varying in size and placement.

When I went in for my follow-up appointment after the second surgery, I asked Dr Losken whether he had been the doctor who performed the surgery. That question was based upon the results I saw. I wondered whether the students had been allowed to take part in the procedure by practicing on me. He indignantly told me that it was he who performed the surgery. I was puzzled as I had greater expectations of his skills.

At my next visit with my breast surgeon, she took one look at my breasts, left the room and brought her colleague in to take a look. They didn't say anything but both just stared at my breasts in disbelief. For me, their response and the absence of any positive comments, said it all.

My next step with Doctor Losken was to go in for a procedure to have a nipple placed on my right breast. Based upon my results thus far, I declined to continue any further visits with him.

Recently, I went to a new primary care doctor for the 1st time. Without any prompting from me, she noted that my breasts were uneven--one was higher than the other and one was smaller than the other. This she was able to ascertain while I was fully dressed and with a bra on. She gave me a referral to a plastic surgeon for a consultation regarding repair. I had already realized that I was no longer able to feel comfortable going to my favorite spa with friends where the ladies are sometimes unclothed while using the facilities. Needless to say, I can't be comfortable participate in that activity anymore. Also, what I didn't realize was that there are such obvious differences in my breasts that complete strangers can notice it through my clothing. That is distressful and makes me sad. Needless to say, I cannot conclude that the goal of the plastic reconstructive surgery to put me back whole has yet been achieved. I would never recommend Dr Losken.

In 2013, I was approved by insurance to have a panniculectomy (excess skin on stomach), brachioplasty (arms) and breast lift after dramatic weight loss surgery. I met with Dr. Losken several times as we prepared for my surgery and I was confident in his credentials.

Recovery from my surgery was hell and I was disgusted with the results - but what could I do about it?? The stitching from my panniculectomy was crooked and I still had lots of excess skin. I remember seeking Dr Losken and all he kept saying was "we could have done more" "theres always more we could have done." OK SO WHY DIDN'T YOU DO WHAT YOU COULD HAVE DONE? Is it because insurance was paying for it, or you just didn't care what you did to me?

As far as the so called breast lift, all he did was move my nipples from facing downward, to facing forward. He did not lift the actual breast at all. he did remove some tissue on the side - in which I am left with disgusting "dog ears" that look terrible in a bra. So now I still have saggy breasts with a nipple that faces forward. What is the point of that? So now I have to have surgery AGAIN and I have to pay out of pocket to lift my breasts and do a tummy tuck. I will have to get my arms done later since "theres always more that could have been done."

I went to DR LOSKIN for a breast reconstruction. I came out of surgery with anything but. The breast symmetry was fair but the nipples were not facing forward. He told me they would be evened out. They were not. He reduced the non-cancer breast and supposedly lifted it. It was drooping after three months. The nipple was moved and was a lot larger than the cancer breast. I had a huge "Z" type scar on my side and he never explained it. Before surgery he did not explain the nipple relocation, the small indention above the cancer breast which he said he would fill in, but he made more scars and it lifted the breast creating zero symmetry, or the "Z" scar on my side. I feel ****ed.

He performed a breast reduction for me about a year ago. My areola area is uneven in size and it is noticeable. Not only are they uneven, the size of both the areolas are to large for the size he reduce my breast to. The top part of the larger areola continuously sticks out of the top of my bra/shirt. Seek another surgeon.

Do NOT use this surgeon for gynecomastia. He has no experience or skill in this area. During my 1st post op visit he advised me that the lack of results was due to swelling. During my next post op visit he then advised me that he did not in fact extract all the glandular tissue. My chest is no better than it was prior to surgery. I'll have to have revision surgery with a more qualified surgeon. Do your research!
