This creep was my doctor YEARS ago and now as someone fighting cancer my current doctor has referred to Dr (and I use the word lightly) Wests previous diagnosis of IBS. I DID NOT have IBS but changed drs and was found to have had the worst endometriosis the specialist had ever seen. NOW after having had a mastectomy 3 yrs ago I am CERTAIN I have ovarian cancer. BUT because of Dr West's report the specialist in my new community refuses to do the bloodwork and instead is calling it IBS. I hope when I am dead my family sues both doctors. Don't go near this useless man.

I can't imagine Dr. West being able to keep patients for long, and is probably why he is always accepting new patients. It is not usual for a doctor to accept every new patient that walks in the door after 27 years.

Sad story but true.

A friend of mine is internet dumb and doesn't know how to use it.
He suffers from drug addiction and eventually found himself in Dr. West's office.
The doc told him that if he wanted his help that he'd like him to post a positive review
on ratemds.com. He said he would do that and then called me asking me if I could help him.

What kind of Dr. would ask his patients to do something like this? Clearly, he is aware of his brutal ratings on this site and is doing all he can to try to bump his ratings here.

How this man is able to practice medicine is beyond me. There are enough negative reviews about this man on this site that you'd think the College of Physicians and Surgeons would suspect something right?

A very Irresponsible and unreliable person I have ever met. Besides making you wait hours in a waiting room till he arrives. On numerus times he was sent fax's from pharmacy's just a signature on a prescription renewal for once every 3 months. I actually ran out. and the pharmacy had to give me emergency medication. My previous doctor retired and I was his patient for twenty years. And then I was recommend to Dr West, big mistake I will do better research next time. after all we Learn by our mistakes .

Books way too many patients, extra long wait times. Very rude reception and and doctor backs them up. Was misdiagnosed a few times by this bungling quack. If you're having an issue with your doctor, report them to: College of Physicians and
Surgeons of British Columbia, https://www.cpsbc.ca/. Don't let these things happen to you or your loved ones! Take a stand.

I would like to start with something positive but in all reality there is NON, when it comes to a man that is this low, there is no way to find something positive, this man DARES to call himself a doctor while leaving his patients to DIE, this disscrase to humanity is my grandfathers doctor, and after 7 or 8 appointments never saw the true Dr. West. this being the case I put myself and my grandfather on the waiting list for new doctors in Chilliwack. now to the BEST PART, after along time my grandfather actually saw west for about 4 or 5 appointments this BSSTRD never even looked at my grandfather blood work, appointment after appointment my grandfather was finally given blood pressure pills and told "you should have been on these for along time already," and this was already a BAD sign. a few appointments later my grandfather went in and was told "here are some pain killers have a nice day..." not happy with this answer my grandfather demanded to have the doctor (west) look at the blood work and see what he thought, (my grandfather had excruciating pain in his legs and couldn't take steps of more than 4 or 5 inches at a time...) so Doc West called the labs and asked for the results (about 3 or 4 weeks after they were done) after reviewing the labs he walked in and said in a ICE COLD manner "sir you have terrible blood, I believe you have cancer, you should collect your things and drive straight to the abbotsford hospital," hearing this my grandfather didn't know what to do so he gathered his stuff and left, on the way out the nurse at least had the dignity to tell my grandfather to go home and have a loved one drive him to the hospital so he wouldn't be alone, which he then did... I just cant understand how a blatant FCKING ASHLE like this is a doctor, things like cancer can be seen in blood test right away, but this BLDY MTHR FCKR was to lazy to check his D*MN blood tests which could have resulted in my grandfather dying (if my grandfather had walked off with just the painkillers), this man is a lyer and a lazy Thing only looking for a paycheck, anyone who dares call this man a doctor is either delusional or hasn't seen this mans true character yet, When my grandmother called me and gave me a summary of what happened I couldnt and still cant comprehend the BLL SHT this man is pulling, this man is the true scum of this planet taking money and leaving people to die because of his blatant CARELESSNESS this man is a direct spawn from HLL and should be treated as such... I would never go out of my way to harm the man, but god forbid we ever cross paths.

I'm only giving him 1 star only because he's a person but should never have been given a license to practice medicine. He is unprofessional and thinks he's all that!. He likes to beliddle his patients in a regular basis. Keep away unless you can't get into a walk-in clinic

I had a heart attack while waiting for him in his office . Staff called an ambulance . He was with a different patient
so he didn’t even come to see if I was OK and never came to the hospital to see if I was OK . I also have cancer , and I am on morphine . I usually see the other doctor so I don’t have to worry about Seeing Dr. West. The girls at the front desk always make sure I don’t have to see Dr. West . The other doctor is really nice, I have not had no problems with him .

Why is he still a d??😡. Front desk monster ( nurse) just bite your head off. Have been wait for 2 hrs to get to see the d?? . Asked why it toke so long time, She said if you leaves we charge $35.
