He is under investigation for child molestation. He is not someone that you want to trust. He takes advantage of elderly patients. Before he went to prison for selling drugs, he loaned a lot of money from elderly patients.

This man has ruined my family he would prescribe my father 200 mg of morphine like it was aspirin until he dropped dead. Then my Mom found his morphine’s when he overdosed and started taking them too. This man has also prescribed my mother so much Ativan and Xanax that she will never be the same. All she want to do is get high now, drink, sleep…. Poor quality of life. I hope all the staff burns in hell . All they got was slap on the wrist. I pray there family sees how evil they are. I pray someone reads this and I pray this never happens to anyone again. How could our medical system be abused like this with little repercussions. This man had million dollar homes while I could even afford to bury my father whom he killed and took advantage of.

I do not like this doctor because I needed some specific pain medication that I know works for me he refused to prescribe it because he said they were addictive. I went to another doctor and got Percocet with not problem.

He is in and out in less than 5 minutes. All smiles, but tells you nothing. Have been 3 times...twice prescriptions were written incorrectly and pharmacy would not refill had to drive back to office. Billing problems after every visit. Still working on first office call after 1 year and 8 months later. Staff and billing department are clueless.

Dr. Mencia is an excellent Dr. He does not spend much time with you during appointments unless you ask him to, which is the reality of our healthcare system, but if you ask he is always very accommodating with his time. Very thorough, also has background in phsyc and alternative medicine, which he doesn't promote much, but is nice to find in a doctor. Staff is great, and get routine complete testing annually, or complete tests for am medical concerns I have.
