Dr. Motan has spent hours on the phone with me and never makes me feel rushed. He is extremely patient with answering my questions. I was heartbroken to see the negative media about him. I must say that I am extremely grateful for his advice and guidance. I personally feel that he is an amazing doctor. I love his humour and ability to make his patients feel at ease. He has been amazing towards me. He has probably spent hours on the phone with me in the past two years, just helping me understand the biology behind all the fertility issues. He even called me late in the evening when I was dealing with my second miscarriage after trying to conceive for nearly two years. He is always willing to answer my questions even though my treatment has been transfered to a private fertility clinic. I have heard the stories about the kickbacks and I just want to say, more than likely, every other doctor is prescribing medication based on kickbacks as well. For example: PCRM doctors have told me I can only get medications at the PCRM pharmacy.....lie. so why would they say that? A KICKBACK!

I have been a patient of Dr. Motan’s for 13 and a half years now. I was referred to him when I was twelve years old and I am now an adult. I am also a medical professional and I am quite picky about who I see as a doctor. Basically what I’m saying is I’ve been his patient for a long time, for more than half my life, and have seen/worked with many doctors so if you’re looking for a credible review, you found it.
Dr. Motan is the kindest, most caring, compassionate and professional doctor I have ever seen. I have never felt anything but cared for and comfortable whenever I see him. He takes the time to go through everything very thoroughly with you and answers all of your questions. He has always explained all the risks vs. benefits of every medication/procedure I have had. To date I have had one surgery performed by him and I will be going back in the near future for a second one. Since seeing Dr. Motan my quality of life has significantly improved and I’m so very grateful for everything he has done for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Motan and would do so again and again.

I was referred to dr. Motan in 2012. I experienced fertility issues and after my first miscarriage I was sent to him and was in his care from 2012-2015.

He truly went above and beyond to help us create our family. He helped me when I had an ectopic pregnancy and almost lost my tube. We will be forever grateful for that. He met us in emergency @ RAH and followed my care, checking in on breaks in between being in the OR. He had my respect from that moment onward. he is the reason I have my family, he truly cared. I will forever be grateful of the care I received and the compassion he showed us. And his humour that eased the stress! he was amazing!

In this recent news, I was absolutely crushed to hear this. Not about the kickback but the over prescribing. I’ve participated in studies and honestly if I had of been told the doctor was getting a kickback, so be it, I would not have said oh no, give me a different meds because some of the money goes to you, I would have said ok, let’s do this! If it was going to work I say do it, I’ve been through hell and back trying to create my family, i don’t care where the money goes. But the fact people were purposely given extremely high doses for no good reason only higher kickback, that just saddens my heart. I don’t understand, that’s not who you are! the knowledge, the position are in, the studies you are part of...all of it why?? Why over prescribe? The risk to lose it all!

It morally wrong, it’s unethical and it’s deceitful, but I don’t feel he should take the heat for it all! this falls on the pharmacy, this falls on AHS, this falls on many shoulders and he’s the only one who came forward. The pharmacist has to review the meds before dispensing, the pharmacist is the one who reviews the meds to ensure it’s within the guidelines. They are the medication doctors, so to speak. so why not say something to the doctor, this is too high of a dose as per ...! Provide a recommended dose back to the doctor and fill the prescription when it’s rectified. No...the pharmacy was morally wrong, also didn’t have the patients well being in their thought process. Shame on them!

He’s a great doctor, a smart man, I’m not sure why this was done! he will always hold a place in our heart, I’m not sure why he’d participate in such events, it did not affect us, I do not believe we were taken advantage of during our care, but I’d like to know the whole story! Make it right dr.motan and don’t take the heat all on your own, you were one person but many hands participated in this.

I’ve heard the saying, “you are one decision away from a completely different life” this one decision, could have everlasting consequences, the chances of you losing it all and your credibility, was it worth it? I know you cared about your patients, what changed? I sure hope there is a way to set this straight.

Best doctor I’ve ever had in my life. He spent 4 years fighting for me to have a family of my own. He showed me compassion when I went through 3 miscarriages. My last pregnant he monitored weekly during the first trimester and thanks to him I finally have a beautiful daughter. I trust him immensely and I hope to go back to him when we are ready for extend our family even more. People are quick to believe the media.

Horrible experience. Expensive experience. Exhausting experience. Dr. Motan does not care. He only cares about the money $$$$$. I suffered with infertility & was violated again being vulnerable. I trusted Dr. Motan with hopes of having a family. Instead he lied to my face so many times. How does he live with himself........ oh yeah....... he is rolling in my money $$$$$$$$. Money that I saved & worked hard for. It got it all & I am left with a vacant empty heart & baby room. He took so many desperate women for a con ride. He needs jail time. Pay it all back I say. My arms were childless with Dr. Motan’s full maxed out injections all for nothing. I suffered & he should too. Can’t trust any Doctor now. It’s all about the money $$$ honey. Sickening!!!!

so many fake 5 star reviews since the news broke out. He is corrupt and values only money, disgusting what he did to patients who went to him with hope. It boils my blood after reading the news, my wife went to him for treatment as well.

Doctor Motan is one of the most kind and compassionate people that I know. He has taken my husband and I under his care after we experienced a traumatic loss.
He has always taken time to listen to us and give us hope when nobody else could. People should know that there are always two sides to a story not just the news on tv.
The medical field especially on the fertility side would be at a great loss without someone that cares more about making sure that you can get pregnant then anything else.
If you don’t know how heart wrenching this journey is then you have no business commenting on this situation. Doctor Motan you are part of our family always.

I regret ever dealing with Dr. Motan. My wife and i should have gone to any other clinic. He has admitted to receiving kick backs from pharmaceutical companies. The amount of drugs he prescribed to my wife cost us thousands of dollars out of pocket for no results on 4 treatments with him. He had no answers for us and did not seam to care. I do not believe he has his patients interests at heart. It make me sick that we follwed the system amd ended up dealing with a corupt doctor.
