Dr Adam is the crème de la crème of psychiatrists. He is a genuine empathic person with a big heart. He is smart, knows his field inside and out and conducts independent case studies to try and help patients lead their best life. It has been an honour to meet such a physician.

Let me begin by saying that I did not think I had a sleep issue of any sort. I did not feel sleepy during the day, but I did feel groggy in the morning. I thought that was normal so I would have never sought treatment if only for that. My husband informed me that I had started snoring. No big deal I thought. But the snoring got worse, and it got loud. After sharing a room with my mom on a trip we took, she also told me that she has never heard me snore that loudly before. During my annual physical with my family doctor, I brought it up and he referred me to have a sleep study done. I went and asbolutely hated the experience! But, it was only after doing that and seeing Dr.Moscovitch for the first time that I was diagnosed with moderate obstructive sleep apnea. I would need a CPAP machine. I was devastated. I'm 40, not anywhere close to being way overweight or obese, and don't really have any other medical issues. I take good car of myself, I thought. "I don't want to sleep with a mask on my face!" But I decided to do the one-month trial with the CPAP machine and after the very first night, I woke up feeling refreshed and alert. At first I thought something was wrong or I had just had a good night's sleep, but this pattern continued as the weeks progressed. I never missed a night without my machine, and now I was also able to start my morning workouts again, because I didn't feel exhausted. I have been using the machine since July and I have never felt this good in the morning. I would have never guessed I had sleep apnea, and without any symptoms or a bed partner, I would have never sought treatment. In short, my experience with Dr.Moscovitch has been life-changing, even though I thought I was just going to go get "checked out" and told I was fine. My newfound energy has allowed me to take better care of myself by being able to wake up and do my workouts, which in turn has made me feel even better. I never miss a night using my CPAP. It's literally THAT much of a game-changer in my life. Even if I end up not using a CPAP for life, I know that without this unexpected intervention, I would not feel as good as I do. The funny thing is, now that my sleep is normal, it IS a lot easier to lose some weight, and I am seeing the impact of my workouts as well. On a professional/personal note, Dr.Moscovitch is very well-versed in various aspects of medicine, and you can tell he not only cares about his patients, but is very knowledgeable in the research currently being done in the area of sleep. He's not a doctor that will just give the same recommendation/treatment to everyone that walks into his office. He understood the link between my hypothyroidism and sleep, and how that impacts my hormones. These are all things that work and function together in my body - and he did not leave any parts of the equation out. If you're seeing Dr.Moscovitch you are seeing someone who is a leader in sleep disorders. Heed his advice and recommendations, and I have no doubt that you too will regain a part of your life that you never knew had gone missing! Thank you Dr.Moscovitch! My husband thanks you too. :)

Dr. Moscovitch and his team have been a God send in my life. He is by far one of the leading Sleep experts in Canada and I would be willing to go anywhere to see him. He also surrounded himself with an extremely well trained team of assistants and staff, that will go out of their way to help you. I have seen 3 other sleep specialists, had 4 sleep laboratory studies, and there is absolutely no comparison, He demonstrates an up to date medical knowledge in his field and in Medicine in general and more importantly has the ability to explain things to you in a way that relates to your circumstances and is understandable. Amazingly for such a Dr, he is humble, does not lecture to you and involves you as a partner in decisions and your care .On a personal level he is very personable, humorous, relating to you as an equal human being.
Thank you Professor Moscovitch for helping e turn my life around, and my wife thanks you and your team as well. Would highly recommend him for any kind of sleep problems you might have, not only sleep apnea.

Dr. Moscovitch was late 2/3 of the time I had an appointment scheduled with him. Once after I waited for almost an hour, I could hear him coming in and angrily talking to someone on the phone. Then he came into the office with Starbucks in his hand and started to complain about his chronic back pain. Very unprofessional. As a patient, I should not have to hear about my doctor’s health problems. During our appointments, the doctor seemed more interested in hearing his own voice than listening to my concerns. When a treatment such as a medication or a sleep schedule he’d instructed me to follow was not working, instead of helping me to work on it, he would berate me for being non-compliant. Often, I would leave my appointments in tears because I was frustrated and not receiving the help I needed. He was not sympathetic to the fact that I was low-income and could not afford the products and programs he wanted me to buy into. Also, on several occasions, he boasted that he was “the best” sleep doctor in the country. He expects his patients to genuflect when he enters the room. Overall, I would not recommend Dr. Moscovitch. If your condition isn’t common and straightforward, and his advice is not helping, his ego will get in the way and he will brand you as being a ‘bad patient’. It’s a shame that people who are desperate for treatment end up on a 1+ year long waiting list to end up with a doctor like him.

I was suffering from sleepwalking and terrible nightmares. I would seem to wakeup and not know where I was, were my clothes were and even if there was a floor under me. I was afraid to move. After some time, and with my wife talking to me I would finally realize were I was. Other nights I would be pushing my wife or crawling over her looking for my tablet. Some nights my wife would see me standing and looking out the window. I would go back to bed when she told me.
With medication prescribed by the Dr. this has stopped and my wife is now much happier.

Dr. Moscovitch and his team are amazing! They make you feel comfortable and Dr. Moscovitch took his time getting to know my history and didn’t just to any conclusions. I FINALLY have answers! I have a sleep disorder that involves day time sleepiness. After being in a 24 hour work environment and working numerous 12 hour shifts, my daytime sleepiness increased. Turns out my sleep
Disorder has been life long. Treatment has been a huge success! I had no idea this is how people felt daily. The only downfall is on me, I wish I had done this years ago. Thank you to the entire team for allowing me to live a normal lifestyle!!
I highly recommend Dr. Adam Moscovitch and his team 100%!

Yes, you do have to usually wait for Dr. Moscovitch but for me it has been completely worth while doing so. He and his team are wonderful at listening to the whole story behind the sleep challenge and they don't instantly just try and sell you a CPAP. He has curiosity and is very committed to the well being of his patients. I am extremely grateful to him for his guidance and help and would highly recommend him if you want someone you can trust to really listen and be creative at trying to solve the problem. I recommend him to friends and family whenever I can as I really trust him.

Dr. Moscovitch verbally attacks you if you disagree with what he says. He threatened to put me on medication that would do real damage to my brain just because I told him the medication he prescribed wasn't working. Make no mistake, he has a personality disorder and offers advice that should be verified by getting a second opinion.
