I originally began seeing Dr. Warren in 2005. At first, I was impressed by the fact that he was able to diagnose my issue within the first few minutes of my session. He asked questions that got to the root of the problem, which other doctors weren't able to do. He prescribed medication and we continued with therapy until 2008. That's when things drastically changed. At one of my sessions I explained that I was having trouble sleeping. That's when he provided me with a sample package of, what he referred to as "something that will do the trick." He also advised that I take it a few hours before bedtime, as the medication would require that amount of time to absorb into my system. Well, I took it at 6 pm and didn't wake up until 24 hours later. I had no idea he gave me sedatives that would completely knock me out for that long. I had young children at home and, if I was a single parent, wouldn't have had anyone there to take care of my kids needs for that length of time. I was so angry that he didn't fully disclose the effect of this drug. When I brought this up at my next session, he laughed! It clearly wasn't funny to me and I didn't expect that type of reaction from him. I decided, at that point to start looking for a new doctor; however, we were moving so I decided to wait until we got settled in our new town. My next session (and LAST) with Dr. Warren was even more shocking when he pulled my records up on his computer and asked if I was still taking Meth. What??!! I honestly thought he was joking. I told him he was clearly looking at the wrong file and I had never in my life done any sort of drugs, let alone Meth! He just sat there staring at me and never looked back at the screen to pull up the CORRECT file. So I knew he felt he had the right info pulled up. What had he been typing in my records all these years? That was the end for me. I found a new doctor at the end of 2008; however, when I called Dr. Warren's office to discuss obtaining copies of my records, the number had been disconnected! So, my husband drove by his office and saw that it was empty. He simply left. What happened to my records? What about all of his patients who received no notice that he was shutting down? Completely unprofessional. I'm so glad I found a new doctor when I did.
