This doctor is an embarrassment to the medical field. He is arrogant and condescending, and about as helpful as a pimple.

Dr. Traviesa, was great at first however, he was unwilling to even see me once as a patient and when I did have an appointment set with him (which was my first appointment); 2 weeks before my appointment date; Dr. Traviesa's nurse assistant calls me on my cell phone and cancel's the appointment. He does not do it in person and he left me without 2 weeks left of my medications which was my life line and without that medication, I sleep for days, hours, and I almost lost my job and I had to withdrawal from my class due to the disability, and because of that medication that was being filled by him and the all of a sudden cancellation, I was screwed over. However, luckily I found a doctor who squeezed me in; the middle of NOvember. But, I was without all my medications from end of october until november 15th. and as a doctor who is supposed to care about their patient's; and especially if their patient has seizures, you do not leave your patient without seizure medications or everything else.

He is not a team player with other specialist - he does not listen to the issues. He is a poor practicing Md and should retire.

He was very nice,. He isn't real talkative, but seems to care and know what he is doing.

He was very rude and inconsiderate of my feelings and seemed to take no interest in helping me recover from my stroke, instead he told me that I will be disabled the rest of my life and I should get used to it. This was told to me in the first 5 minutes of my first visit. I have since changed neurologists and greatly improved.
