Just to hear that she can "fix me" is awesome.. struggling with pain and therapy that has not addressed the root of the problem, will never heal properly. I have gone for 4 treatments and each time I can feel the improvements..I very Highly recommend Helene's treatments.
I has definitely worked wonders for me as all other's have only provided temporary relief.

I have been dealing with lower back problems for more than 30 years. I have tried all kinds of practitioners and treatments. Until I met Dr. Bertrand, I found no permanent relief. She has made it comfortable for me to sit again, and she is now treating some of my other joints with considerable success. She really cares about her patients' welfare. She is extremely knowledgeable, and she is passionate about what she does. I am grateful that I found her.

If you are in pain. I would suggest Dr. Bertrand as your first option. While I waited six months for a specialist appointment concerning some chest/back pain I was having. I found Dr. Bertrand's website online. Her care and attention was above anything I have ever seen from a physician. She went above and beyond, even to the point of providing me with her cellphone number if I experienced any discomfort over the weekend. Through a combination of dextrose and cortisone injections I am today capable enough to live a regular life. This is all because of Dr. Bertrand. If you are going through pain...I would suggest you see her before wasting your time on pain killers that that only mask the pain temporarily.

I have read all of the wonderful comments about Dr. Bertrand. I regret that my experience was not as positive. Came to see Dr. Bertrand because a store called Foot Solutions recommended this doctor to me. During an appointment Dr. Bertrand was promoting her pain management protocols. I mentioned that I had a sore joint in my middle finger because I stepped it one time trying to save our pet from a fall. Dr. Bertrand said she could "fix that in three separate sessions." I said okay> Dr. Bertrand injected a dextrose solution into the lower joint of that middle finger. Two weeks later I had pain and swelling in the palm underneath the injected finger. Dr. Bertrand denied her injection had anything to do with this painful swelling in the middle of my palm, the palm of the finger that was injected. She made me get XRAYs for it. She continued to deny that it had anything to do with the injection. She said, "this has never happened before to any of my patients." Therefore in Dr. Bertrand's reasoning it can never happen, ever in the future. I finally went to a physiotherapist to try and remedy the pain and discomfort I was experiencing since Dr> Bertrand refused to have anything to do with me. She just dropped me like. a hot potato! It has been over a year since that fateful; intervention from Dr. Bertrand, and I finally got an idea that a physiotherapist might help my pain and discomfort. The physiotherapist stated that dextrose is an irritant to tendons and tissue and it I likely that the tendon has' bunched up' in the mid palm due to that irritation of the tendon of that injected middle finger. I have called Dr. Bertrand on numerous occasions to try to get some assistance to remedy the problem of which she ignored. In Dr. Bertrand's mind it has another cause and has nothing to do with her. Shameful behaviour from any physician ...." first do no harm" Dr. Bertrand harmed my person, but not only that, she did nothing to alleviate or help me in any way. Dr Bertrand stuck her head in the sand, hoping I would eventually go away.

I have had incredible results with Dr. Bertrand's treatments of prolotherapy. I have had lower back pain, upper and neck pain for years and it got worse and worse. She has helped me tremendously and I'm very very grateful to have found her. I can go for 3 hours walks and do everything normally again - pain free.

Dr.Helene Bertrand was my family physician for a number of years before I complained about neck and hip pain due to car accidents. During those years she earned my trust as being a well informed and capable doctor. When I asked her about prolotherapy she confirmed what I had been reading, that sugar water (a pharmaceutical grade glucose), when injected into joints and ligaments, produces a reaction that triggers regeneration of the injected structures on a cellular level. This procedure is at least as effective as injecting cortisone, probably better, because there are no long-term side effects as there are with cortisone injections; just healing which takes longer for some than for others. After a series of these injections, my neck pain subsided and has remained low enough to no longer trigger migraines that plagued me. My hip pain subsided to the degree that I no longer limp. A word of caution: Don't expect instant results. Like any healing process, this took time for me to feel the effects. Dr.Bertrand is an amazing and highly qualified doctor. She was thorough, and the cost was very low evaluated against comparable treatments. Thank you Dr.Bertrand.
