My mother has been seeing Dr. Barbara Garcia for years now and while she is an excellent doctor, her staff has been terrible for ages.

It's incredibly difficult to get any kind of paperwork pushed through her staff. In fact, my mother has currently been waiting 20+ days for a referral to a knee surgeon.

She fell last year and broke her wrist- had to wait two weeks before Garcia could see her, by that time the wrist had set oddly. It works, but she's still in a bit of pain from it.

I tried submitting for Family Medical Leave for her due to another incident earlier this year, they got the paperwork signed the day before it was due. The instructions for the doctor and her staff were to fax it back to the FMLA company. They did not and by the time I received it back, it was past the deadline.

I've been actively encouraging my mother to see another doctor. There is no reason for this incompetence- they've been incompetent since before the Covid pandemic.

Stay away and see someone with a better staff.
