Dr KOZINN is the greatest. I had an anterior hip,surgery. I was up and walking the same day. He even gave me his cell phone should I have any questions. He is very accessible which made me totally comfortable with having surgery by him. He really does care!

I have had bilateral anterior hip replacements, done separately over the last 4 months. I am very pleased with both surgeries done by Dr Kozinn. He is a skillful and knowledgeable surgeon. He provided plenty of time and opportunity to fully answer all my questions including aides and X-rays to demonstrate a surgical question. His post-op care is superb, carefully outlining his physio approach along with movement do's and don'ts. I am so happy with my new hips and was mobile with no aides with both hips comfortably walking within 2-3 weeks post-op. Office and hospital staff also excellent. Great and worthwhile experience. Highly recommend Dr Kozinn who has done over 900 of these anterior hip replacements...the experience you want in your surgeon!

Talk about a quick recovery. I was nervous about having a surgical procedure but Dr. Kozinn answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable putting myself into his hands. Wow, I could not have asked for better results. The pain, or lack of, speaks for itself.

Dr. Kozinn was extremely competent with my hip replacement. The Anterior method is the only way to go. This man is a perfectionist and very caring. There is not a better surgeon for hip replacements. I personally found him very reasonable to communicate with. I am a Canadian and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. kozinn to other Canadians . Hi staff is also excellent. Thanks Gerry. Most amazing is Dr. Kozinn kept in touch with me after . Again I can not say enough good things about Dr. Kozinn and his staff !!

This doc is the bedside manner of a door mat. He may be a very good doctor, but I will pass on my knee replacement for a doctor will equal skill, BETTER BEDSIDE MANNERS, and trust. Sr. Kozinn wants to cut and my knee is just another body part for him. Have moved onto better doc.

I was humiliated in front of staff and patients about my severe obesity and the need to use my insurance to get replacements before I was in a care center being fed. The doors were open for the entire office staff and other patients to view and listen. Very insensitive. Does he speak to his mother like this? He grabbed my arm and moved it around severly hurting me without an ounce of sensitivity. Put and injection in my shoulder and said it was probably arthritis but would need to peak in there to make sure but wasnt positive that i could find a MRI big enough to use. on the wall was a sign the Attutude it Everything. I guess so.

Very knowledgeable. Highly intelligent. Unfortunately Dr. Kozinn has "issues" with communication. However, walking out of the exam room as a patient is asking a question is not acceptable. He should not be interfacing with patients if he can't answer questions that are directly related to their condition. I feel sorry for him.

Dr. Kozinn may be an decent surgeon but no person, surgeon or otherwise, has to right to treat others with the disrespect that Dr. Kozinn does. He is rude, dismissive, uncaring and arrogant. He mistreats staff and patients alike. The hospital nurses make no secret of the fact that they hate him and they should. He berates them in front of patients for no reason. Why the hospital gave him a joint center is beyond me. There are many talented surgeons in the valley. If you are considering Dr. Kozinn, keep looking.

EXCELLENT SURGEON, VERY POOR WHEN IT COMES TO BEDSDIE MANOR..I NEED TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT AND WILL HAVE HIM DO IT BASED ON HIS SURGICAL SKILLS. IT TOTALLY TRUST HIM...NO NEED TO MAKE A FRIEND OR SEE HIM AFTERWARDS..IT IS THE EXPERTISE THAT I WANT. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS ANTERIOR HIP REPLACEMENT. UP AND WALKING 2 HOURS AFTERWARDS AND HOME 36 HOURS LATER..FANTASTIC!!

Let's be honest, the doctor isn't Lindsey Lohan - the socialite from who-cares-where. I could never imagine this man going to a rock concert or getting in a bar fight. I don't see Dr. Kozinn planning extravagant dinner parties, dressing up as Elvis at Halloween, or being Santa the mall this year. Did you hire him to entertain you or fix your hip? I can tell you I hired him because he studied at Harvard, Columbia, and UCLA. The average orthopedic surgeon does 10 hip replacements a year. Dr. Kozinn does almost 500 a year. You think he might be pretty good at what he does? He told me he was good at what he does - would you like him to tell you he is horrible at what he does? Some of you people need to grow up. I know for a fact he's amazing at what he does. I went to Dr. Kozinn based on a referral from a friend (that also complained about his personality). I was home 28 hours after my surgery. If you need a hip surgery, he's probably the best surgeon in the nation.
