It happened again. Medical office staff incompetence - a theme here in AZ!!!
Called Dr. Gilbert Ortega's office. CLEARLY explained I have NECK pain that's getting worse and worse and costing me sleep. Was asked to email medical records. Sent medical records 3 times since email addresses given were wrong. AJ promised response by Tue. Today is Friday. Called today.
Turns out - they don't treat neck issues!!! Another week of my life in pain waiting on a response that never came from an office that doesn't even treat my issue. I told not 1 but 2 staff what I needed treated!!! Dr. Ortega has a great reputation (3 hours of computer research to find him). Too bad his staff doesn't listen.

Dr. Ortega replaced my mom's hip 2 years ago. Her quality of life has drastically improved and her arthritic pain has completely subsided.

I did a lot of research before choosing who would do my hip replacement. Dr. Ortega came highly recommended by my primary care physician and she was absolutely correct. The whole surgery was well explained and the results exceeded my expectations.

I had my total knee replacement with Dr. Ortega earlier in the year. I have been really surprised how quickly I recovered. The surgery was easier than I thought it would be. Dr. Ortega has a wonderful bedside manner. I am very happy with my results.

After I was in a car accident last year, I never in a million years thought I would be able to ride my horse again. I was shattered all over. I was devastated. I went through a phase of depression due to my injuries. One day in the late fall I asked Dr. Ortega if he thought I would be able to ride again. He said it will be a long journey but yes, I think you could set that as you rehabilitation goal. My whole outlook changed that day. He was so positive and honest. Nearly one year later and I just got on my horse again last weekend. I owe Dr. Ortega my life's happiness.
