Dr. Mayer is fantastic! She is friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. I have had two different procedures done by her and both times everything went really well. I knew what to expect because she thoroughly reviewed everything beforehand. I would highly recommend her for any GYN issues.

I loved Dr.Jackson when I got to see him. But i only liked one NP out of the five or six NP's i saw. It took me six yrs after i got married to get pregnant. When I did get pregnant i didn't get to see Dr.Mayer until the second appointment at which i found out that i have a missed miscarriage and that i have three choices in what to do. Encourage a miscarriage by taking some kind of pill, do a D&C, or wait a little while. I was so devastated it felt like my heart had actually broken into pieces. It would be much better if Dr.Mayer would have seen me the very first appointment instead of always having to see an NP, since the Dr.s are the one's who will be delivering you. Plus i didn't like the fact that i would be seeing different doctors if my pregnancy wouldn't have ended in a miscarriage. Overall very unsatisfied with the Dr and NP's at at this clinic.

I transferred to Arizona when I was four months pregnant and chose Maricopa OBGYN. I went to the location in Ahwatukee and never once did I have to wait for my appointment and most of the time I was seen early. I was able to see a Doctor on every visit and never had any challenges scheduling an appointment that accommodated my demanding work schedule. Dr. Mayer was my primary and I was able to have the majority of my appointments with her. She was friendly and always took her time with us. She delivered my son via c-section, and I had a very smooth recovery. I did not have a complicated pregnancy, but I would highly recommend Dr. Mayer as well as all other doctors in this practice.

Insensitive and ill-informed are the words I will use to describe Staci Mayer. We visited her office during early pregnancy. She didn't meet us during any of the initial visits. Rather her NP (laura) saw us and even sometimes their radiologist expert Mary. After a couple of examinations Mary and Laura told us that we have an ectopic pregnancy and we need an immediate D&C. Also not sure why, Mary always seemed to push for fertilization drugs after the D&C. We requested to talk to Staci Mayer, even left her 3 messages but she never met with us. What was surprising was that all the medical information for the tests was conveyed to us from the medical staff (who seemed to consider themselves as doctor as well). Staci finally met us and recommended an immediate D&C. We then sought a second opinion and turned out it was not an ectopic pregnancy. Also our new doctor suggested (based on ultrasound and HCG results) that it was too early for anyone to call the pregnancy as ectopic.

as a physician seeing this doctor as a new patient, i was disturbed that she did not perform a physical exam- i have a complicated history from a gyn perspective. i was rushed off to tests and scheduled for a biopsy- she was nice enough and listened to my questions on a superficial level but never returned three phone calls- had a nurse call back once and a medical assistant the other two times who could not answer my questions and said they would have her call me- i never heard from her. the whole office was a business and well run as business with good customer service. on the good side, dr mayers knowledge seemed good (only saw her twice though) and she went out of her way to be nice during our face to face.

Dr. Mayer was very nice, but everytime I came in for an appointment during my pregnancy she would cut me off and was irritated by my questions. She told me that my mild morning sickness was in my head. She also refused to talk about c-sections with me and I ended up needing an emergency c-section at the hospital and was totally unprepared for the experience. She just needs a little work on her bedside manner, but she is more than competent!

Dr. Mayer is the best doctor I have every had. She actually takes time and listens to her patients. She cares about your overall well being and is super friendly. I feel totally comfortable with Dr. Mayer. In fact all of the doctors at Maricopa OBGYN are excellent. I will have them deliver all of my babies no matter what!!! Their staff is also amamzing. Everyone is helpful and friendly. I have had to call the nurse on duty several times when I was pregnant with my first baby, (probably to the point of annoyance), and she was always understanding and helpful. I have and would recomend Dr. Mayer and all of Maricopa OBGYN to anyone. They are excellent and Dr. Mayer is my favorite!!
