Having them return phone calls is next to impossible. Initially I had a good relationship with the doctor. I needed him to sign some forms so I could get the expensive medication directly from the manufacturer. It took me 3 months of dealing with him and his staff, And he kept refusing to sign the forms completely. At 1 point he stormed out of the exam room and came back and literally threw some sample medication at me. most of the staff was OK, but the woman that would take my money at the end of the visit was very snooty. She insisted I owed more money than the bills I had in my hand indicated. Even the staff that returns your phone calls are not from the Phoenix office. They are from India! The whole communication and dealing with the doctor was a very bad experience.

If I could have rated Dr. Dwivedi a ZERO, I would have. We experienced non-responsiveness, carelessness, and the worst bed-side behavior ever at a medical practice. Dr. Dwivedi stepped out to take a call with his Contractor while we were being seen, and after telling him that we were there due to an ER visit the night before for a scare with Addison's Disease. 15 minutes of listening to him talk 'loudly' with his Contractor to come back in the room, and briefed us on changing meds, running more labs, and we should just come back in 6-8 weeks for a check-up. Labs came back and we had to go up to the office because nobody even would return our phone calls, or give us the results. While in the office obtaining the lab results, the RN told my husband that he had diabetes (which is a complete joke) and we'd need to wait until next week because more results were coming in. Next weeks comes along, and no call happened, and they wouldn't return our calls, so we had to go back up to the office in which we were told that he confused us with a different patient - so my husband didn't have diabetes and there wasn't another lab coming back. My husband is still sick, and Dr. Dwivedi has yet to call us back, we've now been to the ER twice, seen two different PCP's, and made an appointment with a Endo at the Mayo Clinic. If you are a patient who struggles with Addison's Disease, please do not go to this Doctor or Office. There are plenty of great Dr.'s in the area who will provide you with the care you deserve.

Dr. Dwivedi has been my endocrinologist for over fifteen years. He is personable and patient. If you are willing to take responsibility for your own health, Dr. Dwivedi will help you reach that goal. He keeps up professionally when it comes to diabetes. Even though I live 100 miles north of Phoenix, if I have a question between visits, he willingly will give you advice on what you need to do.
