I have had Dr Poon as my GP for close to forty years. He has always been professional, kind, compassionate, intelligent, empathetic, attentive and thorough. I have always felt welcomed and reassured I was getting the best treatment. I’ve come to known his wife over the years and Debbie is equally kind and compassionate. The staff was extremely knowledgeable when it came to skin care and services. I am grateful to be able to continue seeing Dr Poon for all my cosmetic needs. After a terrible experience of leg vein foam injections with a St. Albert Dermatologist I was fortunate to find Dr. Lorne Poon who skillfully resolved substantial deep and surface veins in both legs over several visits. He and his staff were exceptionally capable, explaining every step and working as a dedicated team to ensure that I was comfortable and all treatments were as painless as possible. Dr. Poon is a compassionate, gentle, multi-talented, intelligent, elegant and empathetic human whose standards of excellence are unsurpassable. His highly trained and focused staff work diligently to ensure that regardless of what treatment is undertaken, there is full and honest disclosure, integrity, patience and absolutely no pressure.

There are many "specialists" out there who typically spend less than 3 minutes in an appointment and then pass patients over to a small army of technicians whose priority is to sell services and products via high pressure techniques. Rest assured that this will not be your experience with Dr. Poon and his associates, who will welcome and take great care of you every step of the way.

Walking into New Image Cosmetics I was welcomed immediately by the reception staff. They always try to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I never have to wait longer than my appointment time. Dr. Poon is very professional and always on time. He does my Botox and it always lasts 3 months just in time for my next appointment. I always love my results and never have to go back for touch-ups like other clinics make you do. He’s a great listener and is always ready to listen to my skin care goals and always had options to help me achieve my goals. My skin is flawless thanks to him.

Dr. Lorne Poon has been my physician for almost 30 years. He has always been attentive to my concerns, questions, and needs, spends the time to explain his diagnosis and treatment options, takes the time to read my chart before each visit, is empathetic, always available and punctual for my appointments, and insists when necessary that I get tests and checkups on a regular basis. I have been lucky to have him as my physician.

Listens, knowledgable , understanding and as gentle as he can be. Has made what was to be a pain control experiment ( Botox to alleviate pain caused by trigeminal neuralgia) into a resounding success. Staff is friendly and understanding. Absolutely recommend !

Dr Poon is a very knowledgeable and kind doctor who made me feel welcomed and valued. After my first ever treatment, my follow up showed that I required a little extra Botox in my left eyebrow and he fixed it all up pro bono! I love the family vibe of his office and I have never felt pressured to do anymore work then what I was looking for originally. I would highly recommend him to my friend and family.

Amazing doctor!! I’ve been going to him for multiple services, from cystic acne to keloids to scalp problems and yet he still finds a magical way to get rid of those problems efficiently and effectively. He is honestly the best of the best.
