Dr.Kelty is very respected in the medical field- he was recommended to me a few yrs. ago when I found out I had breast cancer. He is caring, listens & answers questions patiently, & always puts his patients first. I trust him totally-

he is the best surgeon by far dr kelty has performed 4 surgeries on me and all have been successful including cancer.

i asked him to please use stitches and not staples inside because i was very active . guess what happened? after refusing to take my call all evening after the surgery ( the ans. service said he was out to dinner and could not be bothered ) i was in terrible pain and swolllen like a balloon. when i finally got to see him the following day ,he laughed it off and said the staples had pulled out . and had the nerve to say he thought it was the anesthesia talking. no i specifically asked him not to use staples. well he now had to open me up in a more complicated surgery, which took much longer to recover. the bottom line - i got fired from a very good job that had taken two years and $thousands to secure. i am a fin. planner and have probably lost 1.5 million as a result . thanks , steve . very funny.

Doctor did a great job, and was even a few hours early on the procedure. Was very personable and made sure that it was done correctly.

We asked him to do something during a surgery that he failed to do and afterward claimed to not remember. He is competent, but doesn't care about patients or their families and their wishes. If you want a touchy feely doctor with listening skills, he is not the one for you. Use him if you just want the surgery done correctly.
