My husband had a knee replacement 2 yrs ago by another doctor at another hospital. He became infected with staph and streph. After too many surgeries. He had a muscle flap surgery. He was finally referred to Dr Shinar. He saved my husband's leg, more importantly his life. It's a 3 hr drive to see him. We throughly believe Dr Shinar saved his life.

This man is a genius. He replaced my hip with Zimmer parts. The cut was rated by all medical folks who saw it as magnificent. The parts all fit well, and he corrected my shorter leg. The wound is healing right on schedule. Two years of pain is gone, vanished. I walk without pain, limp or any other sign of an operation. The man himself is quiet and very unassuming. One would never know from idle conversation with him that he is the best one this planet. Yet his mind is very strong, like a steel trap and he will not lead one astray. He is the Capt "Sully" Sullenberger III of orthopedics.
