Dr. Coogan is a world class Orthopedic Surgeon. My wrist was severely deformed from a 29 year old injury. He took me apart and put the pieces back together even more nicely than nature intended. My scar is almost invisible after 9 weeks! I highly recommend Dr. coogan and his top notch team.

Dr Coogan is the ultimate professional. He took plenty of time to explain my condition and the options that I could pursue. Dr Coogan also made certain I knew the pros and cons of each peocedure. Since I am a dentist, I would only trust the best with my hands!

When I broke my arm, I went searching for the best in the field, and I believe I found him. X-ray technicians are phenomenal. They were able to get the shots without pain. The therapist are also very capable. I could not recommend any more highly.

I have such high regards for Dr. Coogan and recommend him to anyone needing hand surgery. His office runs like a clock; I never waited more than a few minutes after arriving before being seen. The staff, nurses, therapists, x-ray techs, I met are all friendly, efficient, and completely knowledgeable in what they are doing. I broke my wrist many many years ago; it never healed correctly and was actually a bit disfigured. I had been to several doctors over the years who all said they could do nothing for it but shots and medicine for pain. When arthritis made it difficult to move my hand to the point that at times I could not even hold a coffee cup, I was referred to Dr. Wheeler, also an excellent doctor, who helped with the arthritis and referred me to Dr. Coogan to see if there was a way to fix my wrist so I could use my hand without pain. It was not a quick fix and I drove many times from another state to see him and it was worth every mile. Dr. Coogan took the time to find a solution that we agreed on and after successful surgery, I have pain-free use of my hand and for the first time in many years I can enjoy golfing again with my husband.

Does not live up to review. I went to him for a second opinion in hope of getting a tear in my wrist fixed. Rather than figuring out the root of my injury, he requested to see my medical history and told me there "a new phenomenon" that was causing my pain and insinuated I was a junky. I then went to Vanderbilt and got the surgery I required and have been pain free. Unless you're a man or your bone is breaking through the skin, do not waste your time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Coogan for well over a year now. He has always been knowledgeable,caring, and prompt. He will be performing carpal tunnel surgery on both hands soon and I feel very confident in his skills. I am looking forward to having feeling back in my hands! His staff is friendly and knowledgeable, as well. Every visit has been like a visit with friends! I highly recommend him!!
