My children have been so sick and he refuses to listen in the beginning I thought he was great until he told me I was a clinicalitis which means it’s all in my head . My children are very sick I’ve been to him multiple times and he just prescribed medication that doesn’t work therefore I have been back and forth trying to figure it out . I’m their mom & I know when something is seriously wrong ! He should be ashamed of his words he used during my visit and I will tell everyone I know to not go to him . Horrible attitude as well , nothing but insults towards my four year old because of his weight and how dare you degrade a mother who’s concerned about her children’s health ! Shame.

Went to get diagnosed with adhd. Didn’t ask any questions, just prescribed pills. Then told me to get my s**t together because I can’t focus. Preceded to ask me about birth control and sex, which was not related to my concerns of adhd at all. Super cocky and rude. Would not recommend.

We had a family doctor for my baby for the first year of his life. She was horrible never listened to our concerns, let my son suffer time and time again over his ear infections and never would recommend an ENT ...finally we asked to be transferred to Dr. Valaris and oh my God the change was instant..my sons been in to see an ENT he's scheduled for tubes already, Dr. Valaris listens to all my concerns and addresses them straight away! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic doctor! He's great with both my boys! Was initially referred to him as my family doctor didn't know what to do when my (at the time) 7 month old oldest boy broke out in hives litterly covering his entire boy as an antibiotic reaction. My son wasn't ever seen by a male doctor and was fussy and unsure at first of valaris. Valaris was very good with him though and after 2 visits my son grew to love him. He's now been taking care of my oldest for 4 years and is my 1 year olds doctor also. If you need an appointment for something they typically get you right in to see him same day. His one receptionist is always cold and short with you but his other nurse/receptionist is FANTASTIC!!! Always super happy and friendly we all love her too! Would highly recommend going to see Valaris. We just moved and now are over an hour drive to his office but I refuse to switch my kids from him because finding a doctor as good as him is hard to find.

My girls have been seeing Dr. Valaris for 16 years now. He is very knowledgeable and does not medicate for no reason. His staff is always great. We usually can get in same or next day at short notice. He is straight to the point and no nonsense. I highly recommend him.

Amazing Doctor! Very straight forward and he is very confident with his knowledge. Definitely the type of doctor you would want for your kids!

I would not recommend him for the care of a plant. My daughter has extreme anxiety,OCD and Depression. He told me most parents give up waiting for treatment and to stop letting her watch TV because it is a learned behaviour. I had told him she watches the Disney channel he said they talk about death so she shouldn’t watch it. I went to him on a separate occasion and requested my children be sent for ECHO tests because my sister had just been diagnosed with a genetic heart condition and her cardiologist said that they should be tested and was told that my sister doesn’t have it. He has never met my sister let alone examined her and 2 cardiologists assured her she does. My youngest was diagnosed by a clinic doctor as having asthma and referred to an asthma doctor for tests. Dr valaris told me I should cancel the appointment because he has treated more asthma than any other doctor and has seen kids die from asthma. Keep in mind he missed it in my daughter. On another occasion I was told that my daughter didn’t have strep throat because kids don’t get strep throat. I took her to the clinic and the test said that she did have strep throat. The kicker is he had previously treated both of my daughters for strep throat. I can’t believe they still let this man practice medicine. One of his nurses was amazing and the other was as dismissive as he is. He should not be allowed near children.
