did wait a long time to get an appointment but in developmenal pediatrics that is typical. We had a thorough evaluation with excellent testing. Then Dr Tierney sits down and explains things in a lot of detail about things. I was overwhelmed but who wouldn't be when it's your child. But her caring nature and passion is clear. I think a lot of parents are in denial and hear things through a filter and get angry at the doctor when they are trying to help. I've never felt Dr Tierney wasn't sensitive, and she always explains things eaily and asks if I have questions. She returns messages immediately and follows up on everything. Who could want more? If you are worried about your child's development I think she is top notch
