If you have thyroid issues, do not come here. Look elsewhere! She is only willing to treat you based on TSH levels. She doesn’t treat or help you to improve your symptoms. She has made my life a living h*ll for the past few years by refusing to treat me and making me think it’s all in my head.

Dr. Cappola seems knowledgable & answered all of my questions. But, I would NOT recommend her for THYROID patients. I saw her for 18 months (!) about my Hashimoto's Disease. Every time I saw her, I told her that I did not feel well. After 18 months of adjusting my medications, she told me that she couldn't do anything more for me even though I still didn't feel completely back to my normal self. Then, I switched to an endocrinologist at a different teaching hospital. My new endocrinologist put me on a different medication without hesitation. (I changed from generic Levothyroxine to Tirosint.) Now, I feel totally normal again. If I had stayed with Cappola, I would still be struggling with thyroid symptoms.
