I am going to sum this up the best I can.. so much has gone on... I went in for a tt procedure Feb 2016... got an infection.. was neglected.. told to sit in a jacuzzi with an open wound.. it was horrifying... he sent me home after a visit and 30 hours later I was airvacced out... was hospitalized 17 days.. under went 7 surgeries of intensive wound therapy... since then I have had 3 more surgeries, 2 procedures on my back.. 4 random looking "stitches" removed.. took him to the medical board... they dismissed the case because HE LIED UNDER OATH... this DR had had 9, yes NINE cases go in front of the board and all have been dismissed..now I know why... the state of AZ requires an expert witness dr to testify... talked to 2 and they BOTH agreed that he was sloppy and a haphazard.... but obviously believed his lies. 6 lies in his records that I proved to be false information.. a case like this is tough to pursue although my attorneys are in shock that he got away with it.. I am scarred for LIFE.. emotionally and physically all because he didnt feel "i" was worth his time.. he had absolutely NO compassion.. told me I had a fever because I didnt get out of bed.. told me my excruciating back pain was from lack of exercising and was then determined I had 120ml of pus on my backbone... I am not only paying for a botched surgery, I'm suffering tremendously due to the pain I have on a daily basis 2 years later.. I could go on and on and wish I could post my pictures as I will wherever I can.... please message me with any questions as I will do my best to answer... please find someone who will care about you, not BLAME you for their mistakes....

The staff at Body By Leverett are the best! The friendly staff always greets me by name. The nurse, Christina, is the best injector. I love my Botox and Sculptra results. Dr. Leverett did my breast aug and I could not be happier with my results. I recommend everyone to go to Dr. Leverett's office!

I did a breast lift with textured 500cc implants on Nov 2015. My initial result was great. Everything looked wonderful. Three weeks post-op I started to experience a rash that ran along the lateral sides of both breasts. With Dr. Leverett’s recommendations, I underwent an MRI and also a skin biopsy, neither tests resulted in any concrete diagnosis.
This started my weekly to bi-monthly visits to the doctor’s office. At first the staff and Dr. Leverett were great, telling me that they were going to “hold my hand” through this whole thing and don’t worry that he, Dr. Leverett, would make sure I got back to my initial great result.
Things went from bad to worse. Due to a suture not properly healing my left implant became exposed. I was devastated. Again, I was told the office would help me and that Dr. Leverett would replace the left implant and waive his surgical fee and that his office would really work on my behalf with the implant company. Of course, I still needed to pay for all the operating costs, but at least that was something. I underwent a second surgery for the removal which went fine. At this point I was still being told that there was no infection and that the doctor had really no idea why/how this could happen. His only explanation was “a case of the bad lucks.”
On 2/22/16 I got an estimate from Denise, the office coordinator, (also his wife) for what the re-implant procedure would be. (See photo) One month later, I was back in his office. The right breast was swollen and distorted. It was determined that the right implant needed to be taken out.
Things really started to change. The atmosphere of “we are going to hold your hand” stopped. I was a nuisance that just kept showing up. There was talk of it being my fault—auto immune disease, physical activity. None of which added up. Denise then printed up a “new” estimate for me (see above). If I wanted to get my implants re-done she would charge me the same amount as if I was a new patient. I was floored. How could this be? Denise proceeded to tell me that this was already my 3rd surgery and that Dr. Leverett couldn’t afford to comp his surgical fees any more.
What? The first surgery I paid cash up front and in full. The second and third was only 45 min of his time for the REMOVAL of his work. Both times I paid all the other surgical fees included. So now, his wife sits there, in her dress that shows off her breast implants and her diamond pendant necklace, telling me that Dr. just can’t afford to do one more surgery as if I were some charity case they had taken on.
Now, after paying over 10k, I am stuck with breasts that are even smaller and droopier than what I initially went into his office with. If I want to get this fix I need to spend another 6k for another doctor to finish what Dr. Leverett started.
My conclusion: Please stay away from Dr. Leverett and his staff. I don’t believe that what he did would be considered malpractice, but I do believe abandoning me like he did is unethical. And yes, I will be filing a complaint against him with the board.
Another thing, I got sucked in by his “event special” pricing. I thought I was getting a great deal. In retrospect, I’ll end up paying almost double. If any doctor has to discount his work in order to bring in clients after he’s been in practice for over 20 years than there is something wrong. A good doctor stands behind his work and never feels the need to discount his services because his patients will refer their friends. I definitely will be telling all my friends and patients about Dr. Leverett, but you can be sure it won’t be a recommendation.

Dr. Leverett and his staff, are the best! I was very nervous about my breast augmentation and being put to sleep for the first time. Not only did Dr. Leverett give me TWO FREE CONSULTS, but I was also talking to Nicole, gorgeous, honest, and brilliant manager, every other day via email about my concerns. Nicole would also call me if she felt she needed to go into detail about my questions. Dr. Leverett was very honest and educating about the sizes I wanted, and he wasnt afraid to tell me certain sizes would make me look ridic-I LOVED THAT! I never felt our consults were too brief bc he answered any and all questions I had. Surgery was a breeze, I am one week post op, and I LOVE MY RESULTS. When I came back to the office the whole staff congratulated me and was truy happy and excited for my results. Dr. leverett and his WHOLE staff are brilliant, talented, turly caring, amazing people. Thank you Dr. Leverertt, Nicole, and Staff!!!

I wasn't sure how to rate the staff, they were okay, but the Dr. is the issue. Dr.Leverett does not spend any time with his patients. He seems to be in a hurry with every appnt. I should have known when I had the consult, 45 minutes with staff, and I think I literally spent 5 with the Dr. I did go with him because he had good reviews, I couldn't find that many though. After 17 years of experience he should have more. I should have gone with my gut, I now have one breast larger than the other. I had small breast to begin with so I couldn't tell. He should have explained that to me, given me the option to have different implants to make them even. Ta I have informed them of my concerns and all they did was apologize, and I have never heard from them again, it's been months. They do not care, only about getting that surgery scheduled. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. If you do go, please go with your gut and if he doesn't spend quality time with you go to another plastic surgeon.

I had a mommy makeover (breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and lipo to my love handles) a year or so ago with Dr Leverett. I originally wanted saline implants and a cheaper surgeon but he and the staff at "body by Leverett" made me feel right at home. The staff is young but extremely competent. The surgery went as anticipated and I look fabulous! My husband said that he loved me no matter what but now he REALLY loves what I look like. (He even buys clothes to dress me even when I am not with him). Dr Leverett is an artist and likes what he calls "girl curves" and I really like the new me too. He is extremely personable and funny after you get to know him. His staff checked on me several times after surgery just to makes sure I was doing well. I have referred several friends to him and each of them have had an experience similr to mine. I highly recommend him. He may cost a little more but I'm worth it...... And so are you.

I have had several procedures with Dr Leverett and have spent a substantial amount of money. I had a facelift and nine days later my temporal artery ruptured and the stitches down my face came out. The bleeding was extensive - went in an ambulance to the hospital and had a blood transfusion and surgery. The hospital bills are huge and thankfully I had insurance that covers part of it. At my seven month check we discussed a sizeable lump below my jaw. I was told it was scar tissue and that I should continually massage it and it would go away. The lump got larger and I called to see the Dr. for my one year post opp. Now I was told the scar tissue is gone and my submandibular gland is protruding. It looks horrible. Dr Leverett said I had two options - leave it, or remove it and risk bleeding. He said he had removed only one in eighteen years. I am so unhappy with my results. I spent a lot of money. I plan to get another opinion. Dr Leverett and his staff treat me differently now.

I am so thankful for Dr. Leveretts expertise, he gave me back my body and more. I had a mommy makeover and was very nervous. Dr. Leverett and his staff were professional and kind. After surgery my recovery was easy and I felt reassured and well taken care of. I would recommend Dr. Leverett to anyone thinking of a mommy make over.
