Dr. Shaban explained all my options in a honest way .I must say that I am very pleased to have him as my OBG .I HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Shaban is a wonderful doctor. He is compassionate and takes time to answer your questions. He has a great staff.

I love Dr. Shaban. He is knowledgeable, caring, and to be downright honest probably one of the best gynecologists I've seen in my lifetime. He's been there through life's ups and downs. Julie is awesome too! It pains me to leave practice, but within the last year or two, mplemented this new point of service plan. They ask you to pay for your visit up front and then they bill the insurance company, get the money back and then they reimburse you. I guess they do that so that they don't have to fight with the insurance if the insurance doesn't want to pay for the visit. Common sense would dictate that all it takes is a phone call to the insurance company to get preapproval. Seems like all they care about is the money these days. I even had to pay up front for surgery fees... before I even had the surgery!!! And, I certainly understand that it's the back office implementing these policies. But I really wish they would reconsider and implement payment practices that would be beneficial to the patient and the doctors. I've been with Dr. Shaban for at least the last 10 years. I hate leaving because he's so awesome. But I have to do what's right for me, as a patient.

I have never met a more knowledgeable doctor than Dr.Shaban. He took a lot of time to explain my problem and worked with me to come up with the best solution. I had to have surgery but he was great! I have recommend all of my family to him.

Dr Shaban use to be a wonderful doctor. But over the last few years he is trying to do to many things at once. My OB visit was maybe 5-10 min. He does his test and is in and out. Never a chance to ask questions. Nothing. He didn't use to be this type of doctor and I am sad to say I need to leave his practice because of this. I need a doctor that care and doesn't treat you like your on an assembly line.

AMAZING!!! Always felt so happy going to see him! HE gave me a great confidence boost and would say I looked great every visit (even though I gained 70 lbs! lol) I would come BACK to VA from Oregon jsut to see him again!! :)

I chose Dr. Shaban because I was told by many people that he was very knowledgeable and very attentive during the maternity phase. I didn't get that from him or his staff. He appears to be non sensitive to my needs during my visits and I never get the questions I have answered. The bill was highway robbery for the service I received. I think that I chose the wrong OB/GYN this time around after all.

Dr Shaban was helpful, however his nuses were difficult, sarcastic, unsensitive and rude.

Dr Shaban is an amazing doctor, not only he is very good at what he does but he also has great bed side manners(a quality that is so rare these days). He is very busy, so at times the wait is a little longer than you would expect but when it comes to my health, time is not of the essence.
