Made me feel cared for after having my first miscarriage

I was a first time visitor with Dr. Milan and I found her to be detached rahter than warm, friendly or engaging. She was not not very forthcoming with information and with her professional opinion. After much prodding and asking, she finally did offer up some information about how I should proceed. At the end of the visit she did not give us any indication of where to walk or who to see when exiting the examining room. At first I chalked it up to her being a new physician, but then I had to wonder if I wasn't an open & and unapologetic lesbian, with masculine dress wear, who had my wife of 15 years in the room with me, she would have been more comfortable. She gave more eye contact to my wife while talking and responding than she did to me, the patient.
