I had been taking my children to Dr. Schur for several years. She was great when they were young, but once they aged beyond 12 she was terrible. Better with my sons but atrocious with my daughter. This was very upsetting as this was a woman I trusted with my children, only to have that trust broken in one appointment. She ranted about politics, started to prescribe my daughter a medication only to change her mind 2 minutes later and refuse to treat her. It was a very confusing and upsetting experience. Future and current patients beware.

Dr.Schur was rude and condescending on multiple visits. She told me if i continued to breastfeed my baby beyond a year I would cause irreparable damage. I was a L&D nurse so thankfully knew better. Her tone and body language (rolling her eyes and smirking and my expression of struggles) are anything but caring. She brushed off concerns and had no patience in assessing my toddler. Would not reccomend or return.

I found doctor Schur to be very rude and condescending. She seems to think she knows it all and won’t take the time to listen to concerns or even try to have empathy. She seemed to care about her own agenda instead of my kids concerns. I will not recommend her to anyone.

Both of our kids have gone to her since they were born. They are now 12 and 15. Over the years she has less and less patients for her patients. She has jumped to conclusions that have
turned out to be wrong in 3 specific situations (one required surgery and one required an x-ray once we went to another doctor 2 days later) with my son and then overall my daughter wants nothing to do with her because she doesn't want to be ridiculed when they talk. So we are now in the hunt of just switching because the relationship between my kids and her is just not open and honest and they don't want to discuss anything with her so the its in now damaged beyond repair.

We have been with Dr Schur for over 20 years...never had a problem with any of her receptionists...when we needed any referrals such as speech and OT, ENT, dermatologist, it was done promptly...we saw her a lot and I mean a lot...i have never waited for an appointment...I have a few kiddos (5) so I have dealt with quite a few issues...so with the amount of time I have seen her, which I am glad now is just yearly for wellness visits...we never had issues with her being rude or condensending...whenever she moved she did tell us...now that could be because we were frequently in office often a few times a month...with that said that never bothered me as she was always very thorough and kind to me and my children...two of my kids no longer see her as they are too old, but we have many more years to go...she is a great doctor and you would be very blessed if you have her on your team...and you should be teaching your children to say Thankyou for the lollipop...manners are a good thing and I think her caring about something as small your child’s manners says a lot as well...I also have not had an issue with that as my children say thankyou and if they didn’t I would welcome the correction...she has asked them pretty much everytime if they would like to bring one for their siblings...these negative comments sound like a different doctor to me...but as I said I have seen her so much I do know her personality well which I find to be fun and caring...my kids quite enjoy her...and know her heart for my children’s health which is right up there with mine.

I had Dr. Schur from the day I was born till I was 16 years old. As I entered my pre-teen stages she would fat shame me a lot. I know I’m not skinny but I’ve never been fat. I’ve been with my new doctor for 2 years who has NEVER mentioned anything about my weight. She was always rude and snarky and very dismissive. She said my mental health issues was just me looking for attention and years later I ended up in the hospital because of it. She may be good for VERY YOUNG children but that’s about it. I DO NOT recommend her at all. She also constantly moves offices which is very inconvenient.

Wow I am shocked by the horrible reviews. Dr Schur has been nothing short of amazing. My daughter has a rare auto-immune disease which she caught! My daughter loves seeing her and is never scared when it comes time for needles. Dr. Schur is very professional, with a down-to-earth attitude and CARES! She answers all my questions and doesn't make me feel like an idiot for asking for clarification. If you think Dr. Schur is bad - try seeing the pediatric arthritis specialists...they are AWFUL!! You can't go wrong with having this fabulous pediatrician on your team.

my daughters see her. she has misdiagnosed my youngest 2 times. she is rude and just blows you off, she doesn't care what you say, we go to the hospital instead of her because my daughters condition is not getting any better and we`d like to have a real doctor properly diagnosing her.

As first time parents we had a horrible experience with our first pediatrician at Wpg Clinic. We were referred to Dr.Schur by a colleague at work and my daughter now 5 has been seeing her ever since.
We feel very fortunate to have her as our daughters pediatrician. She has been amazing for everything we've needed and answered any and all questions we've had. An awesome Doctor.
