He can be a bit on the rude side at times but he also can be extremely comforting and helpful. He totally listened to everything I had to say and made extremely intelligent and positive plans for my care. He is a "hands on," doctor and will pick up the phone HIMSELF to talk to you when you have questions or concerns. I read the other ratings and yes, he will get on you if you have a weight problem, cholesterol, blood pressure, whatever - that is what a doctor who cares is SUPPOSED to do... everything possible to make and keep you healthy. His "bedside manner" softened up a lot when I snapped back at him once and told him that I wasn't there for a hard time. Now, we have a wonderful relationship and I would recommend him (and have) to anyone in this area looking to get away from all those "CLINIC TYPE" walk-in mega-doctor offices where you're just another body with a co-payment.

He is quite rude, has poor bedside manner, condescending, and many of his patients leave crying because he focuses on their weight rather than their concerns. His privledges for the local hospitals are non existant.

From my personal and professional experience with Dr. Basri, he is one of the worst physicians in this area!!!!

Very caring and helpful. Seems to know what to look for and goes right for it. I love him.
