I have been going for pain management since 2002 from a broadsided accident, my neck was fused and my lumbar they removed two disc. I never ever had a problem getting an appointment, some people complain due to drug use and pain management doctors frown on complainers knowing they jump from doctor to doctor typical over use druggy and they frown on these types. I know working with these guys is real tough when they are hooked on drugs. My respect for this doctor.

Over a year ago, I've come to Oroville from Sacramento to see Dr. lal several times now and I've got nothing but respect and great things to say about him. You can tell he loves what he does , cares about his patients overall wellness and takes any concern about pain. I always leave certain that I am great hands and have improved tremendously since my initial treatment. I look forward to completing the rest of my treatments here.

Dr Lal, and his team provide me with a remarkable excellent service all the time I am in contact with them. And after the medical intervention and procedure administered to me, I was alleviated from pain in my back due to a long back accident.
My appreciation is high for all he is done.

Am relieved to finally get to know that there is someone who actually does something to stop the pain without drugging me up with endless pills. This dude is a real deal.

Dr. Lal has been treating me ever since he bought the Pain Clinic practice and I have found him to be a talented doctor with injections and needles. He also weaned me off of some really strong opioids and onto medications that control my pain reasonably well and are much, much safer. I'm really sorry to see that he has personal problems that have interfered with his life and his medical practice, but to be honest I was his patient throughout the drunk-driving mess and he never let it affect the way he treated me. I'm really grateful to him for the pain relief and improvedf quality of life he has been helping me maintain. The only complaint I have is that since he moved over to Oroville Hospital the staffing has been less than congenial and there have been some errors made with appointments that negatively affected my prescriptions. As a doctor I give him five stars... his staff, not so nice.

have found Dr. Lal approach quite different in that he doesn't just tell you the same options for your condition that you can read online, but gives you alternate choices for helping improve your quality of life given your situation. He is honest and direct, but in a caring way so you now exactly what you are dealing with and you can make the best choices for you.

Superb guy, easy to talk with, I could feel his careful approach with meds , he worked with me good amount of hours for the past several weeks and took his time to investigate the problem and wats to help me. I had a hip replacement couple of years back . Will see how I feel down the road . So far very happy.

Despite some of the harsh reviews about doctors of pain around my area, I called to Dr. Lal's office and set an appointment. Walked in and took 10 mins to get through all the processes. We were having a decent time to talk and figure out the way for my treatment. This guy is the best. I have been going to him for 6 months now and the difference in my life is unbelievable.

I have been around the block several times and I am discerning, have high standards. My herniated L3/5 discs are causing unbearable pain. I always been fairly active and lead a very busy lifestyle. Dr. Lal gave me options and was upbeat, which fits in with my personality. He helped relieve the pain I had for two years . Dr. Lal is not quick to recommend surgery, but also knows when that time has come. I know this is the place for me.
