This woman was worse than nurse Ratchet! She yelled at me, belittled me, called me a waste of time and wouldn't let me speak. It was our first meeting. I grabbed my clothes and ran with my husband looking for an exit. I will not see an allopath again unless I am dying!

Demeaning, rude, uncaring, just an old b**ch that obviously doesn't want to do her job anymore, but for some reason will not retire. Will blatantly lie to your face, and not even care! Will tell you one thing and write the opposite in your records. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this old hag!

I had seen Dr. Verlinda as a PCP for several visits. I had a need to get a second opinion on a health issue that I was experiencing. When I called to make another appointment with Dr. Verlinden after seeing a second Dr.I was told that she would not see me again because I had seen another Dr. Be aware....very draconian

In two years I have only seen this doctor once... my initial visit. I found her to be intimidating and verging on rude when she discussed my personal habits. I am a young adult female, healthy, and generally confident in the way I lead my life but after talking to her I felt like I had been attacked for the decisions I make in life. I understand that doctors are supposed to advise you on what the healthiest options are but I do not think criticism and judgement are necessary. Very rarely do I have health concerns and on the two or three occasions that I felt it was serious enough to see and deal with this doctor again I was informed that I could not be seen for several days... infections and other conditions can not wait days. Whenever I am very ill I am forced to go to the emergency care clinics that charge more and do not know my medical history. Very unhappy with this doctor and the facility she works for. Do NOT recommend.

Absolutely horrible. I am switching doctors immediately Dr. Virlinden is so uncompassionate and rolls her eyes to greet you instead of saying hello. She thinks everyone is a hypochondriac and write scripts left and right instead of really trying to find the root of the problem. I highly reccomend NOT having Dr. Virlinden as your primary or even seeing her at all. Very unpleasant and rude woman!

I've been seeing Dr. Verlinden for over 6 years. She has always taken my concerns seriously and explained all my options. I don't like taking medication and she's willing to work with that. She was the only Dr who hospitalized me, after being sent home from Mercy ER, for a condition that could have killed me. She may not be touchy/feely but is direct and to the point. Her knowledge on new treatments is great and I trust her judgement. I don't want a "feel-good" doctor; I want someone who is focused on getting me healthy and teaching me how to stay healthy.

Dr. Verlinden lacks personality and compassion for her patients. She is not felxible or willing to work with her patients on treatment. What she says goes, no matter what. Dr. Verlinden does seem to care about treating the illness, but not the person. Her cold and unfriendly demeanor is one of the many reasons why I am seeking assistance from another doctors office.
