I was seeing my doctor for 40 years and he retired in April. Sadly for Cromwell Starkey is his replacement. He came into the appointment with an attitude. Was extremely rude, condescending and outright mean. His comments and attitude about health care leads me to believe he is not knowledgeable about medical conditions at all. He came across as a pill pusher. I also feel that a doctor should be fit showing that he takes care of himself. Not the case with Starkey. He is fat to the point where he looks like he eats whatever he wants and as much as he wants. My advice is to not have him for a doctor unless you want to be ridiculed. I find him to be most unprofessional and will not return to his office.

Do happy I switched to Dr Starkey from another doctor in town who is often recommended but should not be practicing medicine. Dr Starkey may not coddle and he is direct but your health is his no 1 concern. He listens when I speak and asks questions about my health. He is intelligent and switched my medication to one that is less expensive and I only have to take 1 pill a day not twice a day. Dr Starkey cares about his patients well being. In my opinion he is the best doctor in town.

A great doctor. There is a new front office staff which is more pleasant. The office is clean. The records are computerized. He refers me the best specialists if I need one.

This doctor does provide very accurate diagnosis and up to date treatment. He is pleasant and does spend enough time with me. My insurance company puts him in the top tier of providers so my co pays are lower.

I agree with the other reviews about the staff but just the front. The medical assistants in back are great. My medications are quickly renewed. Most of the font is fine too. The group itself is very busy for a reason. They provide excellent care.

I was a bit put off by Dr. Starkey at my first appointment when I was given a 5 minute lecture on my weight. Which was okay, I did gain a bit. However, coming from him who is also pretty overweight AND a Doctor at that, didn't sit well with me at all! I did continue to see him and ended up really liking him. He has a funny sense of humor, easy to talk to and he listens to you! Unfortunately, I couldn't be seen by him one day, so I started seeing his partner, Bernadette Quinn. She is a P.A I believe ( def not an MD) and I loved her at first, so I continued seeing her. Well, that was a HUUUUGE mistake!!!
She's more interested in looking you up and down while your trying to talk to and she DOWN PLAYS EVERYTHING !! To the point where you either think you're going crazy or you're a severe hypochondriac! It's almost as if she doesn't believe you! I don't know, I can't explain it. Well, here's just one example of many: I was having these low grade fevers. I knew ahead of time how she was going to be, so this time I brought evidence! For two weeks straight, I took my temp multiple times a day. I wrote everything down as did this; day of the week, time of the day and the temperature readings. Well, she barely glanced at my journaling and of course My temp was perfect that day (go figure) so I had asked her what about the other days that I've been experiencing these low grade temps? Her reply: " You didn't". I was so confused. I didn't know if she was calling me a liar or what. When I asked her to elaborate, she told me the"supposed" fevers, were due to ME LEAVING THE THERMOMETER IN TOO LONG???!!!!!! Are you kidding me??!!! Clearly she's NOT compassionate and doesn't have an empathetic bone in her body!!! I felt that all she was thinking in her head is " get over it!" . You can see it all over her face.
Every issue I went in for, was always due to Anxiety or Depression! That was her go to diagnosis for EVERYTHING!!!! And it made me absolutely nuts!!! Everytime I left that place I had anxiety though!
Office staff is extremely rude ( excluding the phlebotomist and Dr. Morosky's staff, they are extremely pleasant and helpful!) this is strictly Dr. Starkey's staff. Gail is extremely rude and condescending!!! She gives the impression that she's way above you. Always has the latex gloves on as though she were stricktly dealing with Ebola patients!! Oh no Gail, what if our germs get into your cup of tea? Then what are you going to do? You should go to Starbucks and buy the coffee cups with the lids! Those are great!
Lastly, the office is extremely busy, so be prepared to wait on hold for a while and don't sit by the phone, waiting for their medical assistants to return your calls, because they never do!!!!
In closing...Dr. Starkey is a great Doctor and I learned a huuuuge lesson by going to someone else! When you're happy, you stay!!!! Now I'm back with Dr. Starkey and very pleased!!
