Dr Stairs is awesome. Appreciate caring attitude . receptionist is super and gets right back to me. Lucky to have them .

The receptionist is BRUTAL. She called me once two minutes before their office closed, I called right back and she didn't answer. They also seem to close early most days. She takes FOREVER to return calls and just generally doesn't give a **** about the patients. If there wasn't a shortage of doctors I'd go elsewhere just to not have to deal with her.

Only due to the fact there is a shortage of doctors in this province this office even has a patient ! This is the most ignorant receptionist and medical practice I have ever experienced . Keep looking for a medical professional is my advice .

Do NOT see dr Stairs for mental health issues, she has no idea what she’s doing. She refused to prescribe me anything other than an SSRI at the minimum dosage, because anything else would be “dangerous” for a teen. So many months were wasted attempting to get help from her. When describing her treatment to my new psychiatrist, he was shocked and upset to say the least.

The experience of having to deal with Heather Stairs was a nightmare!!! Heather Stairs exhibited no empathy, no compassion and no medical help in any way to my loved one.A few empty words the patient should have seen an oncologist months before she did. She saw an oncologist a few days before her death. When she required palliative care, she was not provided it and denied by Stairs . Dr, Stairs appeared totally unaware of my family members necessity for medical Requirements or treatment. In my opinion Stairs is incompetent .

Dr Stairs is sweet as can be. She listens and replies to your concerns. However; getting anything dealt with as testing ordered or Referals is a challenge as she truly cannot do it all herself. She needs an extra person in the office to do just those things! Ordering tests, Referals, lab follow ups, Paperwork, etc or you will be waiting too long The receptionist spends more time on personal calls and complains if you go to the counter to check in to her to the people she’s speaking with. It’s truly Unreal! She’s even spoken about medical issues to other people after the patient just left. I’m afraid of what she says about me.. I just feel if Dr. Stairs had a support person in there to help her, she would be the best doctor in the area.

I have been with Dr Stairs for 20+ years and have always received first rate treatment. When I hear stories about people waiting extended periods to see their doctor I feel very fortunate to have access to quality and timely health care. There are literally thousands of people who do not have family doctors and the medical service providers cannot keep up with the demand. Despite this, Dr Stairs and her very competent assistant provide excellent care. I know that there are thousands of people out there who would trade places with me who have limited or no access to the medical system. Fortunately for some, our medical practitioners provide treatment for all, even the ungrateful, who I might add are free to take their problems elsewhere to find service more in line with their expectations. Everyone has different experiences and opinions and mine have been very positive with this medical team!
