I have been with Dr Stairs for 20+ years and have always received first rate treatment. When I hear stories about people waiting extended periods to see their doctor I feel very fortunate to have access to quality and timely health care. There are literally thousands of people who do not have family doctors and the medical service providers cannot keep up with the demand. Despite this, Dr Stairs and her very competent assistant provide excellent care. I know that there are thousands of people out there who would trade places with me who have limited or no access to the medical system. Fortunately for some, our medical practitioners provide treatment for all, even the ungrateful, who I might add are free to take their problems elsewhere to find service more in line with their expectations. Everyone has different experiences and opinions and mine have been very positive with this medical team!

I called 52 times this morning and she finally answered. Receptionist is the worst thing that has ever happened to this office. She’s rude, short with people, and completely incompetent. Had to wait 20+ minutes once to get into my appointment because they were looking at apartments on the computer and told me to “sit down and wait.” Unacceptable. Do better. You’re one of the few doctors offices in Oromocto and an absolute JOKE to deal with.

Excellent doctor. Horrific receptionist. I wanted to give zero stars for staff, but it would not allow me to do so.

Not happy with this office at all ,would love to have another doctor the problem is if you have a doctor there is no chance to even get on a list. The do not keep patient info on computer files as they don’t have on they have stacks of files everywhere not organized as some one else said no email either. I could go on forever I spent 15 days in hospital in Fredericton for emergency cancer surgery back in 2007 and she did not darken the doorway once. Thank god I had a good surgeon. She doesn’t really seen too interested in patient care and following up . Never phones the results of tests of any kind.

I have been seeing Dr. Stairs my entire life (I am 27). I adore Dr. Stairs and find her very pleasant to deal with. However, I dislike that her office doesn't have email and her phone is always busy. I have to call 1 - 2 dozen times before I get an answer as Angie is ALWAYS on the phone.

When I call to book an appointment Angie is very short and rushes me off the phone. I always feel as if I am an inconvenience to her.

Attending appointments at Dr. Stairs office is always uncomfortable as I can hear Angie discussing patients and judging everyone that walks through the door.

Angie is incredibly unprofessional and rude.

dr. Stairs is hit or miss, usually get done what I need, sometimes a bit forgetful. Angie (secretary) almost never answers the phone when I call.sometimes I have to call over a dozen times to get through. When she does pick up, she's often rude and short, as if my calling is inconveniencing her... When I go in for my appointment she is usually on the phone taking personal calls... I've also overheard her and doctor stairs gossiping about people which makes me really uncomfortable. Angie called and left a message once with very personal information of someone else cause she accidentally called the wrong number. You'd better be on their good list, cause if you're not, you'll get sub par treatment.

Dr stairs is great , Angie on the other hand seems like she is always upset and I feel like I’m bothering her ... she does sound like she is chit chatting on the phone and then sometimes it seems the phone doesn’t get answered at all ... she always returns my calls though and I’m usually in right away.

Takes on average about 10-15 calls in order to get through as Angie usually has both lines tied up. When waiting on an appointment, all I can hear is Angie having friendly chats or taking personal calls, while asking someone else to go on hold.

Usually easier to see a doctor by either going into emerg or one of the walk-in's.

Oh. And she closes the office every Friday at noon.
