I LOVE Dr. Murphy. He is an amazing doctor and truly cares about his y oung patients. When my son was born he came into the hospital to give him his first infant check up and has been a blessing ever since. He spends a lot of time with each of his patients and puts my son at ease. My son enjoys going to see Dr. Murphy and has never been scared. In his words "Dr. Murphy always makes me feel better". Truly amazing doctor!

My kids love Dr. Murphy. I've never had a problem getting both kids in at the same time. He has great bedside manner and really puts the kids at ease. I've never felt rushed and always have my questions answered. Their office is about 30 minutes from my home, but they are worth the drive.

We love Dr. Murphy! He has called my house personally to ask about my boys after they have been sick.

Dr. Murphy is a wonderful doctor. He is very knowledgable and always takes the time to sit down and explain things in detail. My 6 year ols son adores him and is never afraid to go to the doctor. I would never take my son anywhere else! I wish Dr. Murphy was a family doctor and saw patients of all ages!!

He is professional, calm and good with kids. The only reason I have him 3 for helpful is because one night after taking baby in for sick visit, he failed to/forgot to enter notes about the visit into the computer. He was not in the office the next day when things got worse, and when we called for advice we had to REPEAT the visit from the evening before...and there was a two hour wait, because it was if we had never been there because he did not enter any notes. Nobody is perfect, but it was really an inconvenient ordeal.

Dr. Murphy is AWESOME! His office is a little out of my way but I am willing to make the drive because I know the care he gives my son is amazing. He is very gentle and laid back; making sure that the parent is at ease and reminds them to focus on the most important parts of caring for their child. He is very thorough. We have seen the other 2 docs at this practice but I would not recommend them.

He and his associates at Kids First Newark are to say the least AWESOME!!!! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. He takes the time to discuss and listen to what the problem is with your child and tries to help as much as possible. Several downsides are that they are ALWAYS booked and if your child is sick you have to schedule an appointment...
