Dr. Gallagher called me “Miss Piggy”, which was unprofessional and traumatic. He also does not have my chart in the exam room. However, I believe him to be an extremely good, knowledgeable doctor, who is quick to make referrals if needed and will find a correct diagnosis for any problem. . I have confidence in him as a doctor.

Dr Gallagher explained diagnosis and procedure to me and my family in great detail with research and experience to back it up. He answered all of our questions thoroughly. Although he was behind in the office, he spent time with us and didn't rush us in any decisions. His staff was courteous and professional and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend.

Failed to explain treatment to patient and family. Was unavailable to answer questions when patient was in hospital. Doctor failed to obtain palliative care consult which patient's family requested. Failed to respond to home health agency request for advice when patient accidently overdosed on heart medicine prescribed by this doctor. Patient had to rely on state poison control center for advice.
