Saw him for crippling pain in both arms, and loss of feeling and cramping. He said I should "toughen up" and " taking time off work wont do you any good" Turns out I have Epicondylitis, and Carpel tunnel syndrome, and Dystonia. I believe time off would've helped. I believe Dr. Bartlett is an unqualified, arrogant, UNPROFESSIONAL! I believe our short handed health system would be better WITHOUT HIM! Saw as substitute for Dr Schlebusch who was I'll at the time, He was a good Dr! Dr Schlebusch never pretended to know something he didn't, he was honest, good man! Dr S. immediately put me off work when I next saw him shortly after.

If your appointment is at 10am. Make sure your prepared to stay for 1 hour wait time. I was so mad. I hate it, Bartlett doesn't have a personality. I'm so tired of it. Sucks he's been my doctor since birth.

I have no respect/don't think highly of Dr John Bartlett as he mistreated/misdiagnosed my sister in law who had a family history of breast cancer(was told of this numerous times/was on her medical file ) and did so many things very wrong and unprofessional in a office. If things were done as he was taught in medical school especially with a patient with family history of cancer,I still would be able to see my sister/spend time and she would be still here raising her beautiful daughters but because of this doctor's stupidity& unprofessional medical misconduct ,my nieces lost their mother who was a single parent,my hubby lost his sister/best friend, my inlaws lost their first born daughter/my sibling inlaws lost their sister,my daughters lost their #1 auntie who loved her "girls" as they were her own daughters, lost my sister/#1 support to breast/brain cancer bc of this incompetent fool who shouldn't have his medical licence. I saw my sister suffer through medical procedures he should have never done in his office, especially with a patient of high risk of familyhistory of cancerAny doctor would have referred her to the Ontario Breast Screening clinic right behind his office in Bluewater Health Hospital , then he should have referred her to Cancer Centre in London but I honestly believe when he had done that horrendous painful procedures in his office to her it made her cancer spread twice as fast&where I believe if things were done the legal humane way,my sister would have beaten her fight against cancer and still be with us today .Karma's a itch Dr. Bartlett and when it is your time to leave this world<I wouldn't wanna be you being judge by our Lord Jesus Christ as you done my sister&family so wrong. You could have saved her life if you did what you were taught. Please think twice about seeing this doctor, as there so many other fantastic caring physicians in Sarnia/Area.I'd advise against having him as a family physician as my sister in law was the tender age of 36 yrs old when she passed. Dr. Bartlett, my family still prays for you, as I do also hope that he will do right as a medical professional but I am not that close to ever being able to forgive this man for not treating our beautiful mother, daughter, sister, auntie, niece.best friend and not providing her with the right legal professional medical treatments she so deserved of when it came to dealing with testing for cancer then fighting for her life ,when he knew right what it was and if I knew what it was (only gr12 education). It was a crappy new yrs ringing in 2010 when we lost our beautiful shining starr at 11:50pm Dec31, new yrs eve/day we will never forget and I hope/pray to God that no other person/family will have to go through what my family had to cause of his unprofessional medical misconduct.

He was very dismissive of the concerns I brought forward. I mentioned that I had lower back pain and he acted as though I was making it up and just told me to exercise (which I already do). He made some negative comments toward my profession during a sour attempt at conversation and came across as arrogant and uncaring. Avoid this "doctor".

Totally undermined Dr.. Shlebusch, and sent me to see a physiotherapist instead of giving me the proper medication, which Dr. Shlebusch already prescribed. Saw him for a whole 2 minutes if that.

I saw this person at the walk-in clinic and I am no stranger to those in the medical profession. I had also put an application in as I was new to the Province and in dire need of a GP. (Of course I was rejected contrary to the oath and guidelines put forth by the College.) I am still, many months later without proper healthcare but do not for one second regret being turned down (albeit illegally according to the College) but the treatment, language and mocking demeanour of this person was the worst I have EVER been treated by any "professional" in my entire life. Fortunately I believe in Karma, as much as I can not wish harm on another, I then almost have to feel sorry for this person. Use extreme caution if you are near this man!

Dr. B. is one of the most caring doctors I have ever had. He listens and trys to understand where you are coming from. He has a gentle manner and I dread the day he retires. Thank you for the wonderful care.

WOW, I came in here to leave a negative review/warning & was not surprised to see so many already! I usually see dr Schlebusch and ended up with Bartlett. What a waste of my time. I agree with what others say about him just not caring, not listening & not taking into consideration other doctors previous diagnoses. He is arrogant, insulting and useless as a physician. Comments from staff lead me to believe they do not care much for him either.

Bartlett is a huge douche bag and will never actually try to figure out what is wrong with you and just prescribe the first medication that pops into his tiny brain. Probably too busy day dreaming about golf. He is a miserable old prick that couldn't diagnose you even if your life depended on it (which it very well could someday). Believe it or not I cant decide which is a bigger GOOF.... (Bartlett or Schlebusch) Find a new doctor and don't waste you time! If you weren't depressed before you see him, then you surely will after!
